We had the pleasure of spending 2 nights in late September at The Old Bakehouse. Zoe was a gracious host, and made sure we had loads of information on plenty of things to see in and around Chipping Campden. The breakfasts both mornings were excellent, and served in a very quaint breakfast room with plenty of fresh juices, coffee, tea,...

The Old Bakehouse is a B&B runned by Zoe, a friendly and energetic young mother. It has only 2 rooms, and so our family of 4 had the whole place to ourselves. Zoe and her family stays at a separate section of the house, thus giving guests and owners privacy. The 2 rooms are absolutely charming and cosy. You can...

Where to start- from the charming hostess Zoe to the comfy beds, nice linens and good beds we loved the Old Bakehouse. Great location right in town just steps away from the start of the Cotswold Way walk. Rooms and bathrooms are small is the only negative here

Zoe the owner is just so enthusiastic and upbeat and happy to have you. Gotta love her! The place is spotless. The linens are top quality. Duvets, bed and pillows all wonderful. The bedrooms were very small and bathroom smaller but still worth it. Wonderful breakfast and special attention from Zoe as to what each person would like. Great baking...

We spent one night here ( our 25th wedding day ), and was perfectly taken care of. Zoe even took our wet hiking-boots and did what she could to get them dry. Nice beds and good breakfast. Clean, personal, very positive.

We stayed at the Old Bakehouse the night before beginning our walk on the Cotswold Way. We had a lovely stay. The bed was big and comfortable, and the breakfast was awesome. Zoe was an amazing host. She was so welcoming and had a lot of great information about the Cotswolds to share. I would absolutely recommend the Old Bakehouse.

We arrived very tired after our first day of walking and were greeted warmly and welcomed inside. We were taken directly to our room, which was spotlessly clean. Watch out for the low beams. After inquiring what we desired for breakfast the next morning, we were offered tea and biscuits. Lucy, Delia's doggy, was there to enjoy the biscuits. She...

Hello, It was lovely to read your kind review however I think that this was meant for a different bed & breakfast as even though Lucy sounds lovely we don't have a dog. I'd hate for Delia to miss your kind comments so thought I should let you know. It was a pleasure to meet you both when you stayed...

The Old Bakehouse was a wonderful B&B. The history of the building was fascinating, and, despite it being 600 years old, the accommodation was very comfortable. I loved the thick old stone walls and rafter beams. The ensuite bathroom was very adequate for its size. We absolutely loved Zoe. She was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The Wi-Fi worked great. The...

My girlfriend and I stayed here in February and we highly recommend it! The Bakehouse is situated in a perfect position for exploring Chipping Campden in a beautiful traditional house. The room was very well designed and the bed incredibly comfortable. Zoe our host was super helpful and made one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time....

We stayed at the Old Bakehouse for a birthday weekend away. Zoe made us incredibly welcome, she and James have created the most comfortable and characterful B&B out of this very traditional Cotswold home. Nothing is too much trouble for Zoe, she is a superb hostess and deserves the incredibly positive reviews recorded here.

“Both rooms great--but if you want a "lie in" then ask for the one facing away from the quiet street.”

“Book early. This B&B is very centrally located in town and just great. Do be aware that the Cotswolds are not the easiest or cheapest places to navigate to without a car. We had to do train and taxi to get there , but worth it. Best if you have car so you can explore at will. Walking just lovely around the area and hills and byways nearby. A few thatched homes scattered around add enormously to the ambience. Not for the lover of nightlife, but rather, for the energetic walker and history and nature lover.”
