Stayed for two nights in Room 7, which is up in the attic, but full of character and very quiet. Breakfasts were very tasty, and dinner was great - we ate in the bar both nights. We'd booked a table for the first night, but not for the second, and the bar was very busy, but the staff worked hard... More

We were a group of four. We were made very welcome throughout the time by all the staff and other residents. A thriving local trade made it great fun and we really felt welcomed in the bar when drinking. The owners are so nice and really try and welcome everyone independently. Provided extra bits for rooms when required which is... More

If you want a) zero landlord interaction b) arrogant clientele and c) zero acknowledgment to the people that have taken the time to visit this place, then this is for you. Thank god for the European bar staff who actually had the decency to acknowledge our departure.

Very friendly and welcoming pub/restaurant. four couples with two dogs had a very good meal here a couple of weeks ago. Ambience excellent too. Booked in advance and table well set and reserved upon arrival.

Chipping Campden is a great location to use as a base for exploring the Cotswolds and Eight Bells is a lovely B&B for accommodations. Located in the center of the village, Eight Bells affords the ability to walk around the village. To start, the English breakfast served each morning is excellent. The room was spacious and well appointed. Our particular... More

Stayed for three nights in the Deluxe King Room (Room 7). This was a delightful room, full of character and a really good size. From the front door of the room you walk up a little corridor with a massive oak beam across it (you have to duck). The room itself had beams, and an olde worlde window set into... More

Went for a evening meal expecting top quality food, and received frozen chips, and the flattest pint of Guinness I have ever drunk, very expensive and very poor. Better to walk down the road to the noel arms.

Stayed here one night. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, the stay was quiet, the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are located through a series of doors, and you enter through the pub. I had no complaints about the food, although I only had one breakfast and dinner and did not get to try a range... Friendly inn that needs some modernising with fixtures and fittings. Bathroom needs some attention with black mould on tiles, shower would benefit from a power shower. On arrival hotel room has money on floor implying it wasn't hoovered from last guest. Toilet brush cover in toilet roll. Rooms are quite warm and windows open direct onto the garden area which... We had lunch and everyone ordered sandwiches so difficult to rate the food. But the sandwiches were great. Staff extremely good. A beautiful inn fits into the Cotswolds. Try the ales, they are mostly local and a delight
