We stayed in Chipping Campden for five nights over New Year and tried somewhere different to eat each night. This was our final meal out and was super. The three of us all had something different to eat but all the food was lovely, really nice. Service was cheerful and attentive, and the decor erlaxed and cosy. And one of...

We had enjoyed an exceedingly good meal here on new years eve, its a very popular pub with a wonderful old world atmosphere, well decorated and cosy and warm. The menu isn't massive which I always find encouraging as what's there will be well cooked and presented and we were certainly not disappointed. Three excellent meals, with duck, pheasant, lamb...

Our stay at this hotel was in December of 2014. We had a lovely room which was on the smaller side but that is to be expected for this type of establishment. Our room was cozy and very clean. The Eight Bells has a pub on the grounds which serves delicious, fresh food. I highly recommend both the accommodations and...

Lovely atmosphere with fireplace etc. Good pub food. Our family had the fish, peas and chips, sausages with onions gravy, lamb shank and I had the roast. Friendly quick service. Pub very close to the Main Street.

Stayed for two nights in Room 7, which is up in the attic, but full of character and very quiet. Breakfasts were very tasty, and dinner was great - we ate in the bar both nights. We'd booked a table for the first night, but not for the second, and the bar was very busy, but the staff worked hard...

We were a group of four. We were made very welcome throughout the time by all the staff and other residents. A thriving local trade made it great fun and we really felt welcomed in the bar when drinking. The owners are so nice and really try and welcome everyone independently. Provided extra bits for rooms when required which is...

If you want a) zero landlord interaction b) arrogant clientele and c) zero acknowledgment to the people that have taken the time to visit this place, then this is for you. Thank god for the European bar staff who actually had the decency to acknowledge our departure.

Chipping Campden is a great location to use as a base for exploring the Cotswolds and Eight Bells is a lovely B&B for accommodations. Located in the center of the village, Eight Bells affords the ability to walk around the village. To start, the English breakfast served each morning is excellent. The room was spacious and well appointed. Our particular...
