We came across this tea room by accident and were not disappointed with the friendly service and food. The vegetarian breakfast of eggs, mushrooms and tomatos was a good size serving. It came with 2 pieces (slabs) of toasted bread that was fresh. A good selection of cakes/slices were available for selection with a tea or coffee.

We had a wonderful room on the top floor. Spacious, airy and comfortable. We also had a delicious cream tea on arrival and a very tasty breakfast the next morning. Our hosts were extremely friendly and forthcoming with helpful information. We loved the place. Looks like they are expanding to add a few more guest rooms.

We stayed in a twin room with views over the market square. We could not have been more thrilled having arrived at Heathrow that afternoon from Australia. Floors were wonky, window recesses were 2 feet thick and staircases twisted and turned. Breakfast was good and the staff were lovely. Perfect start to the Cotswold Way.

Just came across this place when looking for something to eat at lunch time and were not disappointed. As the sun was shining we took a table in the garden and ordered toasted sandwich and fruit scone with preserve and tea. The food was excellent and the garden was a sun trap. Well worth a visit and the accomadation looks...

Arrived quite early on a Sunday to Chipping Camden and soon found The Bantam Rea Rooms so decided to have a quick stop to sample a piece of the delicious looking cakes in the window. Once I'd read the menu I actually opted for s cheese scone and a latte which came lovely and warm with plenty of butter. It...

The cheese scone deluxe was excellent, as were the two paninis. Lots of tasty salad though somewhat small paninis. Rather too heavy on the salad dressing. We were overcharged by over £10, as were a couple eating at the same time, so enjoy the food but check your (non itemised!) bill.

We were arranging to meet up here as its half way between the two family homes and arrived around 9.30 and decided to have an English breakfast. The breakfast was excellent (although for preference i would always have two eggs) and the toast was doorsteps of fresh bread and absolutely super. Tea was great with extra hot water. In short...

Called for afternoon tea and sat in the rear garden area. It is not a garden but a shingled area with tables. There is also some construction work going on as well. However the cream tea for 2 was welcomed and good quality.

Chipping Camden is a really laid back old world Cotswold Town and has several tea rooms. Bantam tea rooms offer superb gluten free scones which as a celiac is a real delight. Staff are very friendly and the garden at the rear was very relaxing on a warm day. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bantam Tea Rooms. Great location. We stayed in a beautiful attic room, a lovely large room with a very comfortable bed. We were given a wonderful cooked breakfast plus toast with homemade jam and marmalade. Owners and staff were very welcoming, thank you!

The Bantam Tea Rooms and Guest House is a traditional English Tea Room that offers excellent bed and breakfast accommodation. We are nestled in the heart of the historic market town of Chipping Campden. The premises was built in 1693 and directly overlooks the 17th-century Market Hall. The Bantam is situated on the High Street amongst beautifully preserved listed buildings of golden Cotswold stone, many of which date between the 14th and 17th century. Passersby cannot fail to be tempted inside by our display of mouth watering, home-made cakes which are freshly baked daily in our in-house bakery. Also all our delicious lunches are hand made on the premises. We pride ourselves on our impeccable reputation, locally, nationally and internationally. The Tea Rooms have a lovely tea garden which guests can enjoy from May to September. Guests staying overnight at the Bantam have evening access to the garden. We have our own private car park for residents at the rear of the property. Our stylish en-suite rooms are tastefully decorated with a comfortable and cosy feel. There is a peaceful, private guest lounge and throughout the winter months you can enjoy your delicious breakfast by our roaring log fire. Our rooms enjoy wonderful views of Chipping Campden.
