Travelling from the South to Scotland. We decided to leave after work in the evening allowing us more of our valuable time off work in Scotland rather than in the car. Staying overnight for only £30 for 3 of us allowed us to do this!

I regularly stay at Travelodges and normally have a pleasant stay, but not this time. I was unable to log on 2 devices to the wifi that I had paid for. Reception offered no apology and no help merely handed me the phone with the helpdesk on the line. Gentleman on helpline was next to useless. Under the circumstances could... More

Stayed overnight on way up to Scotland. The welcome from the receptionist was really friendly. We were given a typed list of restaurants nearby which had been recommended by other guests. The newly refurbished rooms were spacious and very clean with very comfortable beds and chairs. The bathroom had been upgraded and was extremely clean. This Travelodge is one of... More

I had read the previous reviews so was not expecting too much from this stay but the hotel is in a convenient place to split our journey. The room had been referbished with new bed and carpets. The bathroom had new fittings and all was redecorated. The smell was pleasant and if you keep the windows closed then little noise... More

I stayed here for one night before travelling north. The room was tidy and spotless. Couldn't fault it. I loved that there were discounts for buying food from the service station across the road. Would stay here again.

Only thing nice about this travel lodge is the road out of it or and the price to stay. Very disappointed. Kids single beds very uncomfortable. Sheets all bobbly sheets where not changed after first night of stay. Hot water tap would not turn off in the bathroom when notified staff they said they new about it. All in all... More
