My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at the Royal. We affectionately nicknamed our room the Duck Egg (in reference to the colour on the walls). The room looked just as good as the photographs online, if not better. Not only that, the room was huge, as was the very comfortable bed, it was spotlessly clean and very tastefully...

Stayed for one night in Room 1 with my wife and 2 children aged 6 & 8yrs. Room was spacious, warm, comfortable and really well appointed. The kids kept saying that they were in the VIP room because they thought it was so nice. Lovely big bed for us and two great single pull out beds for the kids...everyone had...

A lovely little place in central Lancaster. Rooms are lovely and warm and decorated in calming colours, bed really comfortable. Plenty of added extras in the room like a coffee machine, bottled water, quality biscuits and a proper hairdryer! They put a camp bed in the room for my daughter for no extra charge which I was concerned was going...

2 night stay for our first visit to Lancaster. Kim and Victoria Marie are friendly and welcoming. Lovely room, very comfy bed, varied continental breakfast, good selection of beers. Central point for all visitor attractions. Couldn't fault it.

An initial problem with our room was swiftly and efficiently dealt with and we went on to enjoy a comfortable and cosy stay. All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful, always ready to provide information and...

We had two nights in this delightful hotel. Staff were exceptional so helpful in every way. Lovely rooms and the hotel is in a good position to see Lancaster. Also the car was in a safe enclosed parking space by the hotel.
