Worst place I've ever stayed. Hairs in the sink, shower didn't work, light bulbs missing, carpet dirty, bathroom extract clogged, sealant missing from the sink and toilet heating, heating didn't work, what appeared to be a mummified pea on the table. Lift car and surround covered in oil.
Dirty hotel, car park non accessable to any large cars.breakfast inedible even a dog wouldnt eat it. Looks like its being used as home office hotel for asslyum seekers no one at reception after 10oclock
The car park to this hotel was horrific. There are many metal posts throughout making parking very hard. I have a Qashqai and it was near impossible to make turns without hitting one of the bollards to park up. I decided it was better to park outside the car park even though I had already paid for it. The bathroom was dirty and the bedding on the double bed was also dirty. The cups and spoons for making coffee/tea were dirty and stained and there wasn’t enough sachets for the people staying. There were only 2 available plug sockets in the entire room which was not enough for the devices we needed to have plugged in. The reading lights on each side of the bed were also broken and didn’t work. Overall we were dissatisfied with the stay and probably won’t stay at this travel lodge again.…
I had never stayed in the Travelodge prior to this, i was a little bit skeptical at first, at the end of the day it ended up not too bad. So, if you are travelling on a budget, i will recommend the Travelodge.
Sophie and Asih were very friendly and professional. They made us feel welcome when we went down for dinner. They made sure we had everything we needed. The food was really good. The room was bright and comfortable.
Would never consider eating here again, it was very poor quality. Food was luke warm and not appetising. Could not eat it. Travelodge should consider employing a proper chef as the bar staff were preparing.
The room itself was clean, however none of the 3 wall lights had any lightbulbs in them and the kettle did not work. The receptionist was shocked and appeared to not know what to do but did give us another kettle but no lightbulbs which meant we only had the main light in the room and was therefore was very dark. There was no soap on the bathroom dispensers and the mattress was extremely uncomfortable- not the usual standard. The bar cafe was closed and the area in general made us feel unsafe so we had to order in takeaway. It would have been preferable to have received an email informing us so we could have got food before we arrived. The car park is extremely small and although I had a mini was extremely tight to park in- do not attempt to park if you are not a confident driver and don’t have parking skills! The hotel itself did not make us feel safe and upon entering the reception area we were verbally abused by other guests in the bar cafe which was intimidating. Would never stay here again and would not recommend even if it was £10 a night let alone the £90 we paid.…
Hotel had overflowing bins as you entered. Very overpriced for a basic smelly room with no tea or coffee making facilities. Just in the process of taking this further as my wife and I have emerged this morning with insect bites on our skin. Intrigued to hear we are not alone with that experience. Never again travelodge !
Dirty smelly room and hallway , carpets stained. Room overlooked carpark and bins so could hear other residents while smoking and bottle bins being emptied. Neighbours loud and arguing at a stupid time in the night. Came home with itchy bites which we certainly did not have before our stay!!!!
The room was not great. There were crumbs under our bedding that had not been swept away before putting the sheet on so we had to sort that ourselves. You could feel them as you lay in bed. Our bedside lamp never had a lamp in it. The bathroom shower curtain was disgusting and covered in orange slime at the bottom - clearly had not been changed in a good few weeks. There was stains on the carpet flooring and had not been dusted.
