Been here several times and the service is still very poor. The staff are not bothered and are just in robot mode... On the plus side the food is good. Would not choose this place if it was my choice. Staff need to improve their standards to keep this place going.

Stayed here for a friends wedding, spending the whole day at the venue. Wedding ceremony and photos within the grounds all took place within excellent surroundings, perfect for the occasion. I imagine this was what drew the happy couple to the venue. The food was disappointing, average, what you tend to get at large office Xmas parties when a restaurant caters for many off...

Aside from the tap gushing all night the hotel is good. This was a particular incident when hot tap was flowing water all night. Night staff could not fix. So bathroom like a sauna even with room window open. Otherwise (and more importantly), good staple evening meal. Friendly atmosphere. Rooms a little tired, restaurant a little dark. Good breakfast. Lovely...

Stayed for a full week whilst on business, virtually had the place to myself but this did not effect the quality of service I received throughout my stay. My room was enormous, clean, comfortable and the jacuze bath to die for. The meals I had here were of a good standard and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The...

We enjoyed our overnight stay. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room had character and was very comfortable with a smart ensuite. Having checked out the Hotel's website earlier we'd decided to have an evening meal in the Restaurant. Pleased we did, the food was excellent with a good choice. I liked the Beef and Horseradish Involtini starter,...

Here for a wedding, rooms are a little dated, facilities not the best. An older black haired male member of staff was very rude. Lamps in the room didn't work - perhaps the bulbs were gone and a bulb in one of the light fittings was out. I also had to hunt for the tea tray - located nowhere near...

The setting for the wedding was magnificent and the weather behaved to enable us to hold the ceremony in the beautiful Dove Cote. The food was excellent and plentiful and very much enjoyed by our guests. The friendly and efficient manner in which the family and staff dealt with all our requests, like organising a last minute DJ, accommodating last...

Our club has had annual days out since 1996 and having found this gem for a visit for lunch we have found it hard to find somewhere better. The quality of the food is excellent when just taken from their weekday menu. The wine and other beverages are at a very fair price. The venue is hard to fault and...
