We have just enjoyed our fifth stay at the Claremont, Preston. During the last two years we have stayed at 23 bed and breakfasts in England, Scotland and Wales. The Claremont is without doubt, the very best for value. The full English breakfast rivals and beats 3 and 4 star similar establishments. The Hotel is spotless and the entrance hall...

Stayed here as we was attending a wedding at Bartle Hall. Situated on a busy road it was surprising quiet. We booked in with a young girl who showed us to our room. Room was spotlessly clean and cosy. Bedding was lovely and clean, bathroom could do with a upgrade, but neither the less this place is a great place. A friendly...

This hotel was found by chance but turned out to be a gem. We were travelling from Scotland to England and wanted a hotel not too far from the M6. This was clean, comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast was included. We stayed here on our return journey.

Hotel good. Lunch time food average. Ryan Roberts excellent as usual but unfortunately the rest of the entertainment was not up to the usual Claremont standard. We have stayed here regularly over the last 7 years but was not as impressed with the standards this time.

My room was quite large and bright. The towels and linens were clean. The television had loads of channels. I could go on and on. Come...

I would like to highly recommend this tiny hotel for its hospitality. We arrived very late last night while their reception is quite great. And the breakfast ladies are so nice to us! Awesome English breakfast that overqualified its price!

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms were small but very clean. We were going to a gig in preston and the location was perfect for it. There was also free parking on site. The breakfast was really good and the staff were so unbelievably friendly and could not do enough for us! Would highly recommend this hotel and will...

i stayed at the Claremont Preston for 1 night and it was lovely. The gentleman who checked me in was so friendly he was chatty and smiley. The single room was about the size of a small bedroom which was plenty for a single person. Tv, and tea maker and an ensuite in room. everything was lovely and clean. The...

The large radiator in the approach to the reception exudes an instantaneously perceived welcome heat as a prelude to a Northern-warm greeting and treatment of any arriving guest(s). The room allocated was definitely adequate, but, to borrow and adapt the football cliche, it was a "stay of two breakfasts". On the first morning, I found that there was an array...
