Arrived late got greeted by 2 staff, very helpful, order a pizza and Italian chicken and waitress brought it to our room. Food was red got very tasty and good price. Room was comfy , clean and adequate. Had a great 😴 and next morning breakfast was really nice well organised. Overall pleasantly surprised and will return 👍👍😁
My husband and I spent 2 nights at Ibis Preston North earlier this month while visiting family in the area. We've previously stayed in various Ibis Budget hotels (clean and convenient but all identical) but were delighted to find the non-budget variety so very different. It may well be similar to all the others in its chain but it felt like an independent hotel, with real character. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and tables were well separated. The bar in the evening was sparsely attended but service was speedy and there was a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Our ground floor bedroom was, however, the star attraction. A roomy shower, generally pleasant bathroom, attractive bedroom and a bed so comfortable that I slept like a log all night. All in all, an excellent stay. Just one thing to beware: the entrance is off a roundabout and not at all well signposted!…
This Hotel is always wonderful. Friendly Staff. Dog Friendly. Delicious Breakfast 😋. Always Clean. The Hotel is ideally situated for the centre of Preston. All University Campuses. Has a great transport system which is situated right by the Motorway Network and surrounding areas such as Garstang and Blackpool.
I stayed here for one night on business with a dog. On the plus side, the staff at reception were great, very friendly and very efficient. I was given a ground floor room. The room has a carpet which has certainly seen better days and was in need of a good clean, but I may have been given this room because of the dog. The furniture looks to be circa 1990 - it was clean but dated and showing signs of ware. The bathroom was clean and had everything I needed. The hotel is next to the motorway but the glazing is very efficient. Sadly, the sleep I had ( or didn't have) was affected by internal noise rather than external with someone pacing the corridor shouting and banging on a door to tell someone to "shut up" and stop making a noise - I hadn't actually heard any noise at all before that disturbance at 3.00am, but the subsequent disturbances lasted over an hour and needless to say, I would have got more sleep in my car. Other than that, the bed was comfortable enough. Overpriced at what I paid for it £75, but if you can get it for £50 it might be worth a punt particularly if there are different guests in residence than the noisy neighbours I had.…
We stayed at Ibis hotel preston north 3 nights arrived August 19th We've stayed here before, it was exactly the same has our last visit Reception staff brilliant nothing is to much to ask these lovely People, check in very quick room was spot on very clean nice comfortable Bed a lovely walk invshower in bathroom. Asked for extra pillows within 30 seconds I was walking back to room with extra pillows. A bar menu is available if you don't want to go to hungry horse a few yards away. The food is great in both venues. Will definitely be staying again. We stayed in room 4 on ground floor ideal room.
So it’s just off the motorway and you will need to take a taxi into Preston. It’s fair to say the hotel is looking worn around the edges and the decor in my room needed a bit of attention. However it’s clean, comfortable bed and the shower works. The big plus here was the staff, I found them refreshingly friendly and very helpful
Located off the M6 with easy access and plenty of parking for cars and vans. Staff friendly and helpful, room and bathroom was large and had tea and coffee making in room. Also had a restaurant and bar but did not use during my stay. I did stay during the very hot spell of weather and was pleased when entering the hotel that they had air con. But this quickly turned to disappointment when entering the room which did not have air con and was stifling hot. Opening the window meant that you could hear all the traffic from the main road. This all resulted in a very poor nights sleep. Breakfast buffet was very good and included a variety of things hot and cold to suit all tastes. All round an ok stay
I've stayed here many times and have always been impressed by the willingness of the staff to go the extra mile. However, there is a down side: as I said two years ago the carpets in the bedrooms need at least a deep clean but should probably be replaced. The breakfast is impressive in its variety for a budget hotel, but the daytime menu is now very disappointing: mainly freeze and microwave, with cheese nearly everywhere (not good if you have an allergy) - not even a sandwich on the menu now. I understand the hotel is under new management - they hav e not improved the place! Nearly forgot the all-pervasive smell of drains in the bathrooms - not nice!
Staff excellent and friendly. Breakfast great variety. Room clean with plenty of tea and coffee making items, bed comfortable, shower good with shower gel and shampoo, only downside carpet was worn and tired looking but with the amount of people using this hotel as a stop over by the M6, not surprising, but not a problem. Dog friendly which was a bonus to us.
We were going to a family party and needed a nearby hotel. The Ibis fitted the bill. Very reasonable price , bedroom clean and tidy if a little frayed round the edges . Staff very friendly . Don’t forget to register your car number plate at reception otherwise you get a ticket .
