As the name suggests, Premier Inn Hotel Preston Central is right at the heart of things. We're the ideal base for trips to attractions across Lancashire and to the Lake District. There are plenty of cutting-edge business venues within easy reach too. Make a great day of it seeing a matinee show at the Guild Hall in Preston, or enjoy the nearby nightlife. With Blackpool illuminations just a short journey away, not to mention the enchanting manor house Hoghton Tower, there's plenty to keep you busy. At the end of a great day out, come back to a tasty meal and a lovely comfy bed.

Weekend break was made completely stressless for a number of reasons :- 1) The hotel is central to the city and very convenient. 2) The hotel is well laid out. I was on the 'elevated' 1st. Floor, very convenient for reception and restaurant. 3) The staff were very helpful in every way that they could be. Even when they were very busy they had a knack of staying calm. I think that Premier Inn must have a very good "training system".

Hotel's Favourite
I usually stay in premier inn’s every week for business, due to covid I haven’t been staying in that many and I half expected the experience to have decreased a little in my absence. With that being said, the team at Preston central were amazing. Nothing was too much effort, there was an issue with the door lock to my allocated room meaning I couldn’t get in, Rimma (I think that was her name) managed to get me another room with no problem at all, she is a credit to the team. I would also like to mention Harry the nights manager, he recommended some great places to eat in Preston whilst I was there. This hotel is currently undergoing some building work, I must say there is no disruption to sleep at all! Also.. If you’ve ever stayed at this hotel previously, you’ll know Sue and you’ll know she’s an absolute gem and rules that breakfast room like no other! 5 star service every time!

Arrived here Sunday afternoon gone for a 4 night stay, from the minute you walk in you feel very welcomed. Was greeted by a young man Phil on check in whom I've never met before as I'm here frequently. I have to say he has the most polite and friendly mannered. I must say I think this young man will go far as this is his first job ever he's doing a great job . First morning at breakfast was greeted by Phil again yet again very polite big smile that's just what u need to start your day off at 7am and also Sue who was at breakfast my 2nd day well she's a Ray of sunshine feels like you've known her for ages very friendly. The breakfast is sooooo nice and fresh Rooms are clean very comfortable beds great shower pretty quiet as outside can be very noisy. This place is value for money bang central minutes walk from the train station. 2nights to go and I'm sure it will carry on being a great stay.

Walked in for breakfast and really enjoyed it. £9.50 each which includes continental and full cooked English and drinks. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Philip and KB were very attentive and kept checking everything was OK and keeping table clear of used dishes. Special thanks to Kevin the manager who makes amazing poached eggs to order. Overall food was really good quality and best value in Preston

I have stayed at many Premier Inns around the country and can honestly say that the customer service from Amy, Sue and Shannon at Premier Inn Preston Central was the best I have ever received. Nothing was too much trouble, they are really attentive and they ensured that we had the best stay possible. 10 out of 10 for customer service

Great room, good location but the highlight is Sue in the restaurant serving for breakfast. If she doesn't get a bonus for above and beyond service I would be very surprised. Thanks for the decaf Sue!

Your staff make staying at this hotel a great experience. Amy and Shannon in the evening were friendly and helpful. However there was no ice as the machine had broken, this was not a staff issue though. Sue on breakfast was lovely and wanted to make sure everything was spot on for the guests, keep up the good work sue you are a great asset to premier inn.. John the chef, lovely poached eggs 👍

The best service we’ve received in years. Sue was the perfect host, welcoming us for breakfast and doing everything she could to look after us. She was chatty and personable with a big smile and a great attitude - a gem in the world of hospitality. Thanks for giving us a lovely start to our day. We will definitely be coming back.
