I was a lone traveller to Preston and picked a forty eight hour period when storm Angus was unloading all sorts of weather on Lancashire. I usually stay in chain hotels situated next to pubs but decided to try a city centre(ish) small independent hotel on this occasion. I found the Park easily enough and my check in, carried out...

Stayed at this 18 room Bed & Breakfast Hotel to visit Preston. Nice room and very good hot breakfast choices. Charming little bar & lounge area. Dinner restaurant in house as well with limited days and hours. The breakfast/dinner dining room is bright, cheerful and nicely decorated. Helpful staff in meeting your requests for assistance. Very quiet & peaceful setting.

Last minute booking and i could not be happier. For the price point i was impressed, good room, good location, everything I wanted in a reasonably priced hotel. What makes me give this 5 stars are the owners. Louise and Beverley are so lovely, there was nothing they would not do for us. I would definitely take their hospitality again...

Warm welcome, big room, comfy bed, good breakfast. The hotel is a little frayed around the edges but clean and tidy. Not a modern chrome and glass place but a hotel with character. Plenty of parking and located well for city or the country.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Room is clean, comfortable and you can say they have made an effort to make it pleasant. The toilet however made the stay uncomfortable. The shower did not work properly and the 2nd and 3d day we could not shower properly. The toilet had to be flushed 2 or 3 times before it...

Excellent small hotel. Very clean and very friendly. Wonderful breakfast. Main building is a beautiful old house. Highly recommended. Owner booked us a taxi and was very helpful - opened the bar early for us. Definitely would return, if I ever return to Preston.

I only had chance to stay one night at the weekend. I found the staff very welcoming. The room was very clean and well equipped. The Breakfast was very good with a good choose of warm food. The only downside is, if you stay in the annex, the sound of the water in the pipes when other guests use their...
