Mixed feelings about this stay. Got off to a bad start with a young man greeting us with a bad attitude. He spent 15min laying down the law of do's and don'ts and giving us incorrect information. Accommodation was certainly not 5* and not clean as we found food on the floor and even a previous occupants clothes. Breakfast was...

Just returned from a 2 night break at Riverside Barns, what a gem and a definite return is planned to this Quality accommodation. On arrival we were greeted by Kyle who was a first rate host, nothing seemed to much trouble for him. The accommodation was exactly as we thought but did exceed our expectations and was warm, cosy and...

So sorry you found your stay disappointing but unfortunately the guest house is positioned directly next to the river and on a working farm yard so flies etc do occur. We do spend a minimum of 3 - 31/2 hours on full cleans per room and 11/2 + on half cleans and always spray the rooms with insect spray when...

We has the pleasure of staying in the rubble suite for two nights in August, the staff were helpful, the room was to die for, we had afternoon tea provided when we arrived which was lovely. The hamper breakfast was lovely with ovens to cook croissants if required. I think the only fails we found was the sky would loose...

Booked 2 night stay. The good things. Room was lovely. Nice 4 poster bed. Marble wet room. Comfy leather sofas. Plenty of tea/coffee. Nice hamper breakfast. Owners were away staffed by very nice and helpful young people. Not so good. They had an electricity problem. It only stayed on for a few minutes and tripped out. No TV or fridge...

We arrived in Ribchester and drove through this enchanting village to get to Riverside Barn, our accommodation for two nights. We were booked to stay in the Ribble Suite which had a patio area overlooking the River Ribble. We were met by the lovely Charlotte, who greeted us with a big smile and who showed us around the Suite and...

This was our first visit to Ribchester and Riverside barn. We stayed for 3 days booked through a Living Social / Groupon voucher. We chose the cottage with the four poster bed and roll top bath - something a bit special to celebrate my wife's birthday. Although the cottage was comfortable it was a little cramped. We were greeted by...

We booked 2 nights here through Groupon and some previous experiences with Groupon bookings are that the provider skimps on things. BUT not here! The room was lovely, the welcome good and the breakfast was amazing (except for one tiny flaw, we never got any butter for the toast, even though we had ordered it!) . Our room was well...
