It's not often that you stay somewhere where all the staff are so friendly. Everyone we met smiled and greeted us and we were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. Our room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Really nothing negative to say, would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room untidy, toilet dirty and mould on shower tray. Allocated room was clearly a disabled access room and this was not pointed out to me at either booking or check in. Restaurant also full so ate elsewhere for Sunday lunch.

Luckily, we only had to stay here one night, never again. Self check in directed by an impolite woman who thought we should no how to do it. Frankly if I stay in a hotel I expect to be checked in. Room very cold, bathroom very dirty with splashes and residue up the wall, on shower screen, mirror door around...

Hotel was in a good location near to the motorway, Staff were very friendly, breakfast was lovely. Room was clean but shower was disgusting! Full of hair and grime causing the water to overflow onto the floor.

Booked this because of the swimming pool and leisure options, CLub rooms very small, lots of light pollution when trying to sleep, SHower screen (glass) was to short and water sprayed onto bath floor, CLean and friendly staff. Food menu needs a major overhaul, very limited menu.

The rooms are very nice however some do vary in size! The beds are comfy and the showers are great too. Although we were told that the tv has a sound bar although we have never seen one in the past 3 stays... The breakfast are delicious and dinners are great - good vegetarian options and gluten free options too!...

The last time I stayed at this hotel was in 2015, and I stupidly used it as a "recommended hotel" for my civil partnership at Allington Castle. It was terrible - however looking forward and seeing it had a refurbishment, I thought I would give it another go... and pleased that I did. Chose a "club" room - and was...
