We booked this last minute, and were looking at a few places to go including Richmond and Windsor. I am so glad we chose to stay here, I have never been to Leeds Castle despite living in South East London all my life. All I can say, is that the grounds and views were absolutely stunning, I can see exactly...

We stayed here five or six weeks ago en route to the south coast. It really is a fairy - tale setting, and we enjoyed the grounds, in wonderful and perhaps unseasonal weather at that time, an excellent dinner in the restaurant beautifully served, and our trip round the castle in the morning. The only small niggle was that the...

Leeds castle definitely has to be the most beautiful castle in the UK. The castle and grounds are kept to such a high standard that there is no part you won't enjoy. The restaurant served high quality food considering its catering for thousands of people every day. The children's play area is a paradise for small children. And if you...

Enjoyed 2 nights in this peaceful place, surrounded by well kept gardens and ponds of ducks and swans. Our room was small but clean. The windows opened up to this natural beauty, quiet and serene, very restful. The restaurant served an excellent breakfast with a magnificent view of the castle, great staff. We ate both nights there, one was fabulous...

We enjoyed staying here so much, a quiet room surrounding by lakes and moat with a superlative restaurant just yards away. The staff were most helpful and it was easy for a wheelchair user to get around and the access room had a full wet room. The gardens were at their best at this time of year, even the house...

What a great deal for a twin room with free castle entry and fab brekky all included for 110 for a twin. Had a great time round the brilliant maze, watched the falconry, round the castle round then on to Go Ape. Such a privilege to have the grounds to ourselves after hours. Reading the other reviews, suggest asking for...

Incredibly pleased with everything! The rooms were very clean, and the breakfast at the Fairfax restaurant was not only overlooking the castle but it was also superb in selection and taste. Additionally the grounds are simply beautiful. The website doesn't do this place justice as it all in all wonderful, and beyond what we expected. We will be back!

We booked a romantic weekend stay and ended up leaving after one night as it was too noisy and there was little privacy in the room. The photos on the website of the Stable Courtyard suggest the space would be only used for guests staying the night (the photo suggests a secluded garden or so we assumed). Rightly or wrongly,...
