Upon arrival the receptionist was really lovely and the kids were given fanatic activity packs which included things like puzzles, hats, colouring, crafts which...

Took my mum here for a cream tea. Staff were very attentive and polite. The sandwiches and cakes were lovely. We would definitely go back again andthe cream tea is highly recommended. Really enjoyed our afternoon here.

I've stayed at this hotel on business, for around 1 night a week over the last few months. I have some gripes - mainly the TV system (no menu of channels, big time delay in changing channels, generally useless). However, having booked dinner, bed & breakfast last week (for the first time here), I was having a good experience that...

Only went for the Sunday Carvery so cannot comment on the rooms but the hotel is in the process of being converted into a Crown Plaza. Starters good value and a carvery that does not short change you on the quantity of meat. Beef however very tough and the pork a little dry. The saviour was the roast potatoes done...

Really good value for money, the room cost is low in comparison to other four star hotels in the area and the food is great, especially the breakfast. The staff are friendly and rooms are clean and accommodating. Can't argue for the price. Good value for money and will come back again !!!

We spent a night at this (ex Hilton) hotel as part of a family birthday celebration held in one of the function rooms and found the accommodation to be frankly barely adequate, partly because the hotel seems to be undergoing some kind of rather slow refurbishment since being sold by the Hilton group which has resulted in annoyances like the...

The hotel is a little dated but the rooms are clean and pleasant. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were available in the room. They have a very expansive room service menu but we decided to eat in the bar area. Food was good and service was quick. The bar area is contemporary decorated and very nice. The hotel is going...

Stayed at the Basingstoke hotel with dog and wife, whist down checking looking at houses in the area. We've stayed in all kind of hotels from Mandarin Orientals, Conrads and high end boutique hotels to Holiday Inns and Airport hotels, so have a wide spectrum to judge on. Some of the reviews on the Basingstoke hotel are unkind and unjust....

Had another great stay at the Basingstoke hotel. The food and wine is good. The staff are friendly and helpful especially Antonio the bar man. Cheers. Perfect location if you...

Stayed here for 2 nights and it really needs updating. It is faultlessly clean but old and worn. I had a room at the front of the hotel and during the night could be noisy as it overlooks the car park. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and had big fluffy pillows. I didn't eat dinner here as...
