But to be fair the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The place gives a really poor impression from the outside and looks a bit sad. The proximity of a Whacky Warehouse building adds nothing to the ambience. On the the plus side there is masses and masses of free parking and the staff were excellent. If you need to...

We were greeted by a very professional gentleman on reception on arrival. Room was clean but could do with being updated. We stayed in a room overlooking the main road which was slightly noisy. We stayed on the second floor and every time anyone walked passed the floor boards creaked. For the price we paid (£35) I can't really complain...

Stayed here with my wife last weekend for one night as we were going to a wedding reception in Rivington. The hotel had ample parking facilities and is close to the M61 motorway so access was easy for us, although, if you are travelling on Saturdays, it is best to check the fixture list for Bolton Wanderers as the road...

Don't stop in room 3 sounds like loose floorboards everytime someone walks past the door in the corridor, awoken about 4 times during the night. Other than that stay was ok breakfast bit steep at £8.99. Slip down the road to tesco breakfast £4.65.

Location, fine; parking, good; price, reasonable. That said, in my opinion the room was cold, poorly maintained (including bathroom) and a lift would have been helpful. However, the bed was, as usual. Extremely comfortable! I have travelled all over the Uk and stayed in many PremierInn's. This maybe rates among the worst, but certainly not the worst hotel I have...

We stayed at Bolton West recently for a 40th birthday party held locally, the staff were very helpful throughout, and i would stay here again if need be. The location is close to all the main roads locally which is really helpful.

If you want a cold breakfast in a dirty pub with poor service eat here. Very disappointed for a usual high standard of the premier inn. The rooms were run down and a bit smelly, in need of an unpgrade.

I slept well despite my concern with my room being over the reception and smoking area and close to a very busy roundabout. I am a light sleeper normally. The meal I received in the restaurant was tepid and it was replaced with a similar meal. Breakfast was excellent.
