This is a most pleasant stay anyone could wish for. The owner Christine was a very friendly and welcoming host. The house is situated in a lovely country area where you look out of your window to a lovely view. The room which we stayed in was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was first class and is prepared...

Had a really enjoyable stay here. Felt at home right from our arrival. Lovely room with a great view. Room was immaculately clean and comfortable. Great breakfast to send us on our way. Hope to be back again.

Lovely family and very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble for guests, any time of the day. Beautiful rural lane in the Lancashire countryside, and well situated for a visit to nearby attractins or towns, especially Bolton.

Christine is a very welcoming and helpful entrepreneur. The room was very comfortable and quiet and the bathroom especially was of designer standard. My mushrooms were a bit undercooked, but the place was so lovely and incredible value for money, it wasn't worth knocking a star off! NB if you are involved with Nige Botterill's main events in the area,...

I was in the area on business and needed a bed, and was on a very tight budget. Found this place via Late Rooms. It was a great find. I was shown to a attractive twin bedded room. It was beautifully furnished, quiet, clean and definitely had the 'wow' factor. The free (YES!) WiFi was a bit spotty, i.e. up...

We spent 1 night in May at Ingleside. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Christine met us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. She gave good advice on a place to eat and made a delicious breakfast in the morning. Christine is lots of fun and a good host.

I had a marvellous one night trip to Ingleside recently. I was in Manchester for the weekend and decided to stay somewhere more peaceful which was a short (20ish mins) journey to the centre of Manchester. Upon arriving at the hotel the owner had gone out of her way to make sure I had some porridge available for breakfast (I...

I just finished 6 nights at the Ingleside House. I had an EXCELLENT stay. The room, and bathroom, as well as the rest of the property was spotlessly clean. Very quiet neighborhood, great view from my room, plenty of places to go riding your bike, or walking. Off street parking. Wonderful breakfasts. Christine is an excellent host and makes you...

Ingleside was a great find, clean, comfy and a place from home, I spent 8 months at Ingleside. I had already experienced two of the large 4* hotels in Bolton and was not impressed. Christine the owner was very hospitable, and so was Cynthia her mum. They would go out their way to ensure that your room and stay were...
