I stayed at the regency on the weekend of 21/22 April. I didn't get there until 10pm so I did get lost in the dark Once there though the staff were very welcoming and I soon settled in. As a lone female guest it was a little nerve wracking at that time of night. But I needn't have worried. The...

We booked this hotel on price and it was so much more than I was expecting. It was easy to find and only 10 min drive to Gatwick in the morning. The room was large and comfortable. The included breakfast was fantastic and the prices at the bar in the evening fair for a hotel. There was no charge for...

We had a warm welcome on arrival at this hotel and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel itself was in nice grounds. The meal in the restaurant was very good. As we were checking out early we would miss the normal breakfast but we were offered cereals which would be left out for us if required. The...

Situated in a beautiful setting and grounds off the main track down a country lane .Nice greeting on arrival the manager seemed very please to greet me and said if you want anything just ask which was very nice of him. . 8 of us stayed here to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. A lovely old world hotel in a beautiful location. From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. An excellent dinner menu and cooked to perfection. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you Harry and the team for making our...

I have just spent 4-days at this hotel on a training course and it was horrific. - Insufficient heating in the rooms so we had to wear coats - The hotel smells of dirty cooking oil which comes from kitchen. This takes your breath away as you walk into reception. I have had to have my coat dry cleaned to...

Dear Tracey, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I would like to address a few of your points. Quite a few courses are run at The Regency via various training companies throughout the year, without complaint. These companies are well aware of our facilities and that our restaurant is only open in the evenings. LUNCH: Unless...

I stayed for 5 nights here and it's OK as a bed for the night if you re doing something locally and out all of the time. It's a bit off the beaten track down an unlit road The whole place is just a bit sad and tired, needs a fresh coat of paint and an injection of life. Breakfast...

Booked one night here as it was near Gatwick airport where I was picking a friend up from. A beautiful view of the hotel as you turn into the drive. The room was a little tired but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and freshly cooked to order. Would definately stay again.

The first sight of this hotel is awesome. Tucked away from the madding crowd it is a serene oasis of calm, its black and white façade lovely to behold. Quiet but within easy reach of the airport or in our case the crematorium. which was the sad reason for our being in the area. We were well looked after. The...
