Having stayed at a number of Premier Inns and similar budget hotels I found the Derby East hotel very good. The room was clean, fresh and functional. Bed comfy and had a good nights sleep. Staying as a family, the sofa bed normally not that good however in this case the bed was supremely comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and eggs...

The hotel is immaculate and the staff very friendly. However, the restaurant food is poor and choice was extremely limited as three choices (curry, gammon and mixed grill) were unavailable ... we ordered fish and chips ... the fish was small and I believe straight out of the freezer. It was on a bed of thin cut fries alongside a...

Me and my young children stay at many Premier Inns. They are all pretty good and staff always pleasant but after staying at Derby East I have got back home and booked for another night. Why?? Alex the manager (I presume he is). So friendly, talked football with my younger Son and swapped French too. Even though the restaurant was...

All staff here are excellent, professional but extremely friendly and welcoming. From Ashleigh on reception to all hotel staff, everybody had a smile on their face, and nothing was too much trouble. Ten out of Ten to them al.

Nice stay for what we needed. Everything in place rooms of nice size kids happy. Wifi and reception a bit wobbly but not a big problem for us. Close to local retail park and loads of food outlets to eat from.

Stayed for one night with a child. Hotel very clean. Staff very helpful. Restaurant and food excellent with very attentive staff. We were initially kept awake by the guests upstairs constantly walking around, which was resolved instantly by the night staff and we were refunded our nights stay. Quality service. Thank you. We will stay again.

We went for a weekend away from looking at the same four walls and it was a great stay. We booked in on line and the reception staff handed the key to the room using our names as he had done the paper work and knew we were coming. We unpacked in the room and went for a walk into...

Hi nice hotel with good staff and manager. The breakfast was very nice indeed but the evening meals were horrific I advise you avoid the evening food as all four were very poor indeed. Breakfast is buffet style and all you can eat, very nice

Everything you would expect from a Premier Inn, Great bed & TV, room was nicely finished, plenty of parking, no issues. On busy main Rd, but it was cold with the windows closed,so no outside noise coming from open windows. Staff nice & helpful/pleasant. Would I stay here again = Yes
