Just got back from a weekend away here and the place is amazing, the room was spotless and well looked after, the breakfast was fresh and tasty and had a good variety of hot food. The staff were polite and very helpful too. I cannot find fault with anything. On site there is an ale bar, restaurant and coffee shop....

Booked the Four poster lady grey suite for a romantic getaway for me and my partner . The room itself is quite large with quite a big ensuite bathroom but lacked character. The furnishings and décor was to say the least tired and the carpet was disgusting and I mean filthy with large dirty black patches everywhere. Staff on a...

Amazing! Fabulous old buildings with super bars and real ale. No Prosecco but plenty of wine so all was forgiven. We booked in and our room was up 2 flights of stairs which was fine. It meant we would have a view. The room was clean and warm with a sparkly ensuite. Marvellous!

Upon inheriting a couple of coaching prints we decided to return them to the Inn featured in one of them which turned out to be The New Inn. We booked a one night stay and drove up to Gloucester. As stated in their web page there is no parking on site but a multi storey car park within a short...

Went there for our evening meal. Normal pub food but well presented and very nice, particularly the Salmon. Good value and service and friendly staff. We liked it so returned the next evening and still good.

Interesting building but just a bit rough. The clientele on Saturday night were an interesting bunch to say the least. Bar staff on Saturday night didn't crack a smile once but I suppose listening to karaoke and watching the local wildlife must take it out of you. Young man on reception on check in was perfectly pleasant but we went...

Even if you don't stay here it's well worth a visit to take in the well preserved history of the hotel/pub. Food is good- high end pub food with very good breakfast buffet and you can eat as much as you like! The rooms are nice, clean and well serviced although due to the age of the building there is...

Not experienced breakfast yet, but by the standard of the evening meal it'll be pretty good. Don't get me wrong this won't be a gourmet experience, but if you want a basic reasonably priced meal you can't complain. The single room was basic, but contained all the necessary requirements such as a comfortable bed and adequate bathroom. In the style...

We spent 4 hours here on Saturday afternoon, had a few drinks and some very good freshly prepared beef burgers. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pricing was very reasonable. I'd recommend this place for a good drinking session

We booked at the very last minute for an overnight stay, securing the last available room. While the overall impression of the venue was jaw droppingly good, our room was rather tired. However all we wanted was a clean and comfortable place to sleep in the middle of our two days mooching round Gloucester's sights and the New Inn couldn't...
