Okay, the point of this review is that I feel very strongly that the previous reviews have not been at all fair. Please keep in mind what you are paying to stay here. If you need luxury, a romantic break, stylish room, or a cooked breakfast go else where. I spent 4 comfortable nights at the property, met other residents...

The continental breakfast is asda cheap cereal their is no cold cuts (probably a good thing). Do eat out as we did Do not expect a on site service we saw no one to complain to in 3 days They try and charge £19.95 for a cooked breakfast (wonder where it comes from). Was not impressed its a cheap stay...

I stayed at Guest house on a few occasions relating to work purposes in the local area, my company paid the room prices on each stay. The purpose of this review is to inform others who might be thinking of staying at the Guest house for a few evenings to look else where or spend the money on a hotel...

I was hoping my satnav had broken or someone had played a fantastic practical joke as it told me "I had reached my final destination" as I pulled into a questionable area of Gloucester, greeted by some locals who looked like extras in deliverance, I said goodbye to my car as I never expected to see it again and made...

Stayed here, unfortunately, for 3 nights. Terrible. Dated building and rooms. Uncomfortable bed. Damp and musty smelling. Appalling shower with occasional hot water. In the self service kitchen area you can only use either the toaster, kettle or microwave at one time or you'll trip the electrics. ... reassuring eh? It's situated in a terrible part of town, very rough...

This guest house was disgraceful. By far the worst paid accommodation I have ever stayed in by a country mile. Don't be deceived by the picture which looks pleasant enough from the photo. Arthur Street in which it is located is basically the ghetto. I wouldn’t have been surprised to find my car on bricks the next morning with my...

If we had viewed thro the guest house website we would not have booked as it is clearly states it is a hostel and welcomes day sleepers etc. This is not what we were looking for and booking thro' the Trip Advisor site is misleading. However, I had booked and paid and we arrives at the Centre Lodge at 6.40pm....

This gueshouse by far is the worst one I have ever been to in the whole of my life.We were put down in the basement where there was only 1 window so it was always dark, the tea and coffee facilities were never replenished. The duvet underneath the incredibly worn out duvet cover was in a rancid state and needed a...

Easy to find with secure, off road, back of hotel parking. Checked in early no hassle, envelope with clear instruction how to get through the front door, get keys and into my room. No Manager on site but plenty of contact numbers and free phone once inside. The couple of calls I made to sort my early arrival and ask...

If you plan on being greeted like a guest (i.e. by real human people) in this guesthouse, forget it. By checking in, you enter the house with one million notes on the walls! One note on how to get the key, one on how to use the shower, how to use the kitchen, where’s the food, how to cook your...
