We stayed, with our dog, 1 night for our wedding anniversary. Although we live quite near we wanted to enjoy our meal and not have to drive home. We certainly enjoyed our meal! We both had the haddock and leek fishcakes for our starters, they were delicious and well presented. For mains I had chicken stuffed with Wenslydale and my...

Stayed for one night with my Daughter for Bed and Breakfast, in the Balcony Room! Lovely clean room with everything in that you could need (except for soap, only hand wash liquid, so bring your own!) The bed was so comfortable but the Balcony with the Views were spectacular and Breath taking and to wake up to a sight like...

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago, the pub is in a lovely setting with great views of the Yorkshire Dales, and particularly from the conservatory. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We had one evening meal which was absolutely delicious, the breakfasts were ok apart from the eggs were always overcooked which ever way...

Slow service, staff all looked miserable. Food was ok, burger dry and tasteless but the rest of table enjoyed. Wouldn't return or recommend. Plenty of better pubs in the dales. Beer selection not great either. Needs a bit of investment in restaurant area.

We stayed here for one night as we had business in the area the following day. The room was clean, and comfortable with a nice fresh feel about it. The location is reall pretty. The weather was good so we could enjoy sitting out in the beer garden with a nice cold drink, but equally inside was like a tradtional...

Had some dinner here tonight. The food was tasty but the service was very slow and seemed very disorganised. Waited 30 mins for starter same for main and 40 mins for dessert. The pub itself is sat in fantastic countryside which the dining room looks over.

Booked 4 nights here and it was a lovely stay. Friendly staff and a spotlessly clean room are two of my must haves and The Wellington Inn scored on both. From our arrival to our departure the staff were friendly and efficient. Happy to chat and help with anything. Food both at breakfast and dinner was plentiful and delicious with...

Went for lunch whilst in Darley. Have to say the food was brilliant, all locally sourced, fantastic menu and really brilliant service. Leah served us today and every recommendation was spot on. The mixed grill is huge, the onion rings are really good (beer battered) and the selection of beers on tap was as you'd expect from a top traditional...

Stopped for a pub lunch after walking in the area. Huge menu choices with lots of interesting dishes including desserts! Interesting bar area with games room plus restaurant. Also has rooms. Dog friendly. Freshly cooked food, no room for dessert!

Stopped after walk rounf Fountains Abbey, four of us with a dog. No issue having dog in premises and very pleasant selection of food and beverages, made to feel welcome and no issues with service or quality, will happily return and recomend to others.
