Stayed here with work last month. I was allocated one of the rooms listed under the bar/reception area. The room was lovely, great modern bathroom with walk in shower, and a comfortable bed. The thing that ruined my stay was the near constant noise from above throughout the night from people walking on the wooden floor. From reading other reviews...

We went here for Sunday lunch. Booked online in the morning which was a quick and easy system to use. Found the hotel after recommendations on here and fancied a bit different Sunday lunch. 4 courses for 22.95. Mushroom soup to start, was a little watered down but flavour was amazing. Then help yourself buffet to cold meats, seafood, salad...

Stayed here for one night on business. The location of the hotel is great and close the town centre and train station. The rooms are small but we'll appointed. The bar area is cosy with a good range of bottled lagers. I didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on that. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Twenty members of my family descended on Hotel du Vin last weekend in preparation for my Father's 90th Birthday celebration weekend. We were on a B&B basis only, as the 'evening doos' were elsewhere but all our rooms were lovely, with gorgeous bed linen, pillows and feather duvets. The general manager, James McDevitt, was so friendly and helpful and quickly...

Having arrived on time for us to check into our room we were left in ,shall I say reception area and told our rooms will be ready shortly. After 10 /15 min and way past the allowed check in time we approached reception again to be met with a massive apology, and asked what drink would we like while they...

l have been to Hotel Du Vin many times over many years and place has looked progressively more tired and the service has sometimes been quite hit and miss too. Many of my visits are corporate and booked by other people hence I keep returning. This week however the service was excellent and the food superb. The halumi superfood salad...

Had a great stay at the HDV Harrogate. From the moment you arrive, you'll feel right at home in the spacious lounge bar area - which takes on a lovely, atmospheric chilled vibe at night. Room was lovely too - although we found it amusing to find it had a huge bathroom - yet the bath was actually in the...

Our grown up children know we like staying in quality hotels, so they bought us a voucher for Xmas. We were not disappointed. A great central location, the hotel was well appointed and maintained, the food was really high quality, overall we enjoyed the stay. Parking directly outside the hotel was £10 per night. A bit steep but I suppose...

Beautiful room, certainly not what I expected!! Lots of space and very comfortable bed in the 'studio' room. Toiletries are high quality too. Hotel is a series of converted terraced buildings so narrow corridors and some steps that can't be avoided but full of character.
