Very good service; excellent food and even better beer! Cannot recommend highly enough. This off-the-beaten-track venue will become a regular for us! Just 4/5 miles from Harrogate and well worth a visit.

Awesome. Great pint of Old Peculier (best beer in Yorkshire) and a great lamb rump. Always good at the Queens Head. Service with a smile. Been coming for years. Highly recommended. Louise is a great landlady.

I absolutely love coming here. Traditional steak and ale pie served to a fabulously high standard. Thick cuts of meat in lovely pastry. The portion sizes are generous and the staff are really friendly. All in all, a great place to go. Thanks again.

Wonderful pub, wonderful service, wonderful food! Loads of choice on the menu, went with a good old burger. It was delicious. It seems everything is homemade, right down to the desserts. Keep up the good work will definitely be back!!!!!

Lovely pub food. Nice village and surroundings and staff friendly. Only downside is that they do a delicious steak pie then smother with gravy. Would have been nicer to get a little jug of gravy on the side :-) Would definately go again.

I had eaten here before and was really looking forward to a great meal. I wasn't disappointed, the sea bass with sweet chilli sauce was outstanding. Lovely cosy surroundings and excellent service too. Can't wait to be back again.

Called in here mid-week with a party of 17 seniors, we walk for two or 3 miles and then have a reasonable lunch. This excellent pub is in a tiny hamlet a few miles from Harrogate - we had told them we were coming but they did not need us to order the food in advance. Nevertheless, the meals all...
