My husband and I had a weekend break after recommendation from my parents. We stayed in the Turret Room which exceeded our expectations. It was a beautiful room, spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable, complete with a safe, iron, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries and even has a fireplace complete with gas fire. Ascot House is conveniently located within strolling distance...

11 family members from different parts of the country stayed here. Some travelled by train, others by car. Very accessible for both modes of travel. Beautiful building with some very interesting features i.e. large stained glass window. Everywhere was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The food was well above average and plentiful, and served by very friendly and helpful staff.(taking...

Found this gem of a hotel after checking out trip advisor. The room we had (room 1) was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with a huge comfy bed and modern bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious as was the dinner we had on the Saturday night. The staff went out of their way to make sure our party of 16 had a...

My husband and I stayed for one night with my two sons and their partners to spend some time together. All three large double rooms were different but all lovely and clean, warm and nicely decorated. We had the evening meal which was fabulous. Definitely one to recommend.

The Ascot House family pulled out all the stops to welcome us and make our stay there comfortable and memorable. The room (Baxter) we very comfortable, quiet and dark at night. Bathroom was a great place to relax in a hot...

Picked this from the TripAdvisor reviews in Harrogate as I couldn't face the Holiday Inn. I was not disappointed. Nearly all the staff guessed I was female correctly which is no mean feat given the fact I look like a fusty old man. So...gay friendly is what I think I'm trying to say here. I never felt as if I...

I stayed for 2 nights with a colleague in a cozy double room. The room was excellent, clean and well equipped, and larger than some hotels I have stayed in. The food in the restaurant was lovely and beautifully prepared. I would stay again if visiting Harrogate and would recommend it highly to friends and family. Thank you for a...
