Pretty average,nice setting by the lake,expensive food and drink not matched by quality,that said attentive polite staff and very clean.Lots of remedial work being done including systems updates,hope they see this as constructive!

It’s clean, the showers are hot and the rooms are good. It’s not a Radison Blue for instance but the hotel for the price range is good. Location in Peterborough is perfect. The service is excellent and the food offer is what you would expect.

We operated a limited housekeeping service on Christmas day and Boxing day, with additional services available by request through reception. I apologise that this was not communicated to you effectively. Dear Aysgarth65 I’m very sorry that you have received a fine for using our private car park without registering your details. Our car park is managed through a third party for the safety and security of our guests, and the prevention of abuse of the facility, and has been since 1st June 2017. The hotel itself receives no income from this agreement, nor does it have any input into the issuing of penalties. Parking remains completely free of charge for all of our customers, visitors, residents, and guests, who simply need to inform us of their car details. The system automatically records the number plate of all vehicles entering the car park, and issues a penalty unless the vehicle: a) Leaves the car park within 10 minutes b) Registers on the touchscreen tablets on reception or on the bar at any time during their visit. I’m sure you can appreciate that it is not either practicable or possible for our team to notify every customer and visitor individually of this procedure, and therefore there are 14 signs to this effect displayed prominently in the car park, as well as 29 on display in the public areas of the hotel (including on, and behind reception, on and above the bar, outside both public toilets, and on both sides of the main entrance door). There is also information regarding the parking procedures in every bedroom. As explained, the hotel is not able to help in the appeal of penalties once they have been paid. Good Afternoon, Our upstairs rooms all have baths with a shower above whilst our downstairs rooms have showers only. The top of our windows opens on a latch. Hope this information is helpful. Kind regards Victoria Witheridge Operations Manager
