Ultra un-trendy hotel, a sort of drab working class, western suburbs looking place situated on the leafy North Shore. The food was acceptable if pretty standard bistro fare, with the usual budget-priced weekday specials ... but $9 for a 345oz bottle of local apple cider was well over the top!!! Or to put it another way - paying Steyne Hotel...

If you're into trendy, quinoa, sticky black rice, chia or the currently fashionable pulled pork, don't bother. However, if you want basic pub food, at reasonable prices and good service then pop in for lunch. Three of us had the Nachos and one had a Beef Burger. Nachos were fine and perfectly edible, and I'm told the Beef Burger was...

If you want a clean place don't come here. If you want good food go somewhere else. If you want to use the bathroom you may as well walk over the road to the public toilet...it will be cleaner. If you want to sleep forget about it. The service is pretty poor as well and the chef couldn't share with...

I stayed in the Pymble "Hotel" for one week. I was so shocked by the cleanliness of the rooms, hallways, bathrooms, and kitchen, that half way through my stay I contacted the Front of House Manager, no action was taken. When I asked repeatedly for my room to be vacuumed the hotel failed to do so, and when I asked...

Pymble hotel is sandwiched between the Pacific highway and railway. This may sound bad. It isn't. Once you enter you will discover a proper pub. Good food. Beer. Cider. And that view. Don't go if you are expecting a 5 x star hotel. It isn't. Nor does it pretend to be. Enjoy a vanishing pub experience before they are all...

Nine of the rooms here don't have ensuites which the hotel doesn't advertise. So nine rooms have to use two bathrooms. The service at the front counter was appalling ... non-existent. When we arrived the place was full of drunks. We booked but walked out when our arrival had still not been processed after 30-minutes. The hotel promised to submit...

Had dinner at the Pymble Hotel this evening, nice cosy dining area once you walk through the original style pub. Food was good, I had Prawns & Calamari served with Salad and Fries and friend ate Fish & Chips, both good and generous serves. Toilets are clean but original style. Bottle Shop attached and plenty of parking. They also offer...

First time here for a meal and I had pork belly and coleslaw mini burgers which were very good. Nice old pub, very clean amenities. Very friendly polite bar staff and not a long wait on our lunch. Plenty of parking on site.

Pymble Hotel was dreadful, dirty, and non-functioning worse than Fawlty Towers. The barman who doubled as the restaurant order taker and hotel receptionist, told a person standing next to me that the hotel was full. No rooms left. Yet I was there for a week and never saw more than 2 other guests during that time. The shared kitchen was...
