Having been turned down by a number of B&B's for having too many kids (!), I was so pleased to have found Carrigbyrne Lodge. Big rooms, big beds and plenty of space for a few kids. Owners were friendly and helpful too. It made a welcome start to our amazing trip to Ireland and set the mind for many more!

We stayed here as a family taking my mum on a trip down memory lane back to Ireland. We wanted to be near New Ross where my mum was born but also not far from Waterford where we spent a day. Our hosts Noelle & Ian were very welcoming & provided a warmly & hospitable couple of days. My parents...

My family and I highly recommend the Carrigbyrne. We were very well looked after during our short stay at the Carrigbyrne Lodge. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a super sized family room and bathroom, the beds were very comfy and the fantastic breakfast set us all up for the day ahead. We will be back and hopefully for...

After a long drive from Donegal we were welcomed warmly by Noelle and her family into their home, we had a extremely spacious family room which consisted of two double beds and we had the option of using a cot if required for our three year old. Travelling with young family can often be chaos but if we needed anything...

We stayed here on arriving in Ireland from the ferry in Rosslare. The large family room, with 2 double beds was ideal for us with our 2 young children. The en suite was comfortable with electric shower. The full Irish breakfast was delicious. We thought it was a good idea to have given us a list to tick the night...

We found a very welcoming and nice atmosphere, thanks to our hosts, their kids, niece (very helpful!), friends of the kids... It was really a very pleasant staying. Excellent (and large) room. Hot shower! (so rare to find in Ireland!) and a fantastic 'sun room' where to have tea, rest, talk.... . The only negative things were a bit of...

Even if we arrived late and delayed, both Noëlle and Ian gave us the best and warmest welcome to their home, we could have a rest after a very long trip and go to a fantastic room for sleeping until late in the morning. The B&B is located in the countryside in a lovely place, and the breakfast was excellent...

We happened upon this country retreat by chance- what a find! Ian & Hollie were wonderful hosts, the room was beautiful- best bathroom in Ireland. Quiet you want, quiet you get! Lovely! Ireland's infamous (lack of) highway/road signs suggests they include detailed instruction on their web site. We were fortunate to have a lovely lady at the store on the...

We stayed a night at this quiet B&B after our arrival via the ferry. We had such a wonderful big and clean room and enjoyed the tasty, generous breakfast that we decided to stay there again the night before we had to go back to the UK. Arriving the second time felt like coming home - the same friendly host,...

My wife and I stayed here in May 2013 for 1 night on our way to Waterford. Our host Ian was most welcoming, the room was spacious and clean, and the house lovely and peaceful. We had a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would definately recommend this B & B.
