We have stayed at Dunroven three times. It is the best B&B in Ireland. Dunroven is just a ten minute walk from the Waterford Crystal factory and short bus ride to city center. It is a comfortable house with warm and friendly hosts. An excellent breakfast menu is offered with a schedule that allows for some flexibility in the morning....

Spent 2 great nights here and really enjoyed out stay. Nice room, good breakfast and great company. We enjoyed our time here and really relaxed. Waterford is a good place to visit.

While acceptable, this was our least favorite B and B in Ireland. The mattress was so worn that we were unable to sleep for being poked by its springs; the neighborhood west of Waterford is entirely residential and therefore lacking in services and attractions; breakfast restrictions in terms of both the menu and the schedule were inconvenient and forbidding; and...

What a wonderful place to stay! A friend and I were on a week-long holiday in Ireland, with a rental car, stay vouchers from a travel agent, and a book listing all the B&Bs in Ireland that would accept our vouchers. Dunroven was actually the third house we called on our way into Waterford, and I am so very glad...
