On the Halloween weekend last I visited Waterford in a complete absence of knowledge of the area and with no prior booking. I was fortunate enough to be accommodated in room 307 at Dooley's Hotel. The comfort of my room went way above and beyond my expectations, it was a complete surprise to find every detail one could wish for...

I'm for one night quite with view of a wall. Dinner was OK . Breakfast the same as every other place we stayed. View of river when the rain let up. Twin beds and internet. Wasn't mush to do because of Rain.

A nice hotel with reasonable food and good value for money. Not 5 star food but well presented and cooked to a very good standard and very enjoyable. Menu a bit on the short side. Floor staff 100% and couldn't do enough for you but the bar staff are not up to speed and really let the hotel down. It...

A traditional waterside hotel, been around a long time judging by furnishings but spotless rooms, modern bathrooms and well managed. Our room was inward facing, another booking. Com penalty and the view horrific!! We kept the curtains closed for our one night visit. Central heating worked well but internet in the room was a non starter but ok in bar....

Stayed here a few weekends for work, best thing was coming down to the pub and not having to ask what pint you'd want cause Sally-ann would know what you'd want. Plus she could always take a joke with a smile. Plus she can pour a pint of Guinness in 119.4 seconds.

We stayed at this hotel only for one night. We had stayed in lovely hotels by the countryside in Galway and Killarney and were expecting the same in Waterford. The room was dark, the hallway was noisy, we could hear loud music playing in the bar downstairs. Sleeping arrangements were not bad, there was stable wi-fi connection and the location...
