The Granville is an ok hotel. Definitely not 4 star maybe 3. Food is ok but very commercial. If you do stay here be aware it can be full of American and other visiting tourists so by no means quiet. Especially in the morning when they are all rushing for their coaches from 5 am onwards! Noisy corridors!!

The 'Granville Hotel' and restaurant is well known for its service and quality dining. With a large group of friends we visited for an 'Early Bird' dinner -5.00pm- this suited us as we had had a full day sight seeing. The tables were laid with lovely white linen cloths and polished glass ware. The service offered was both friendly and... More

When we first drove up to this hotel on a busy street in Waterford, we were dubious. The exterior is not impressive and looks very old. Well, let me say that the interior and the staff certainly make up for it. We were with a tour group and stayed in many hotels on this trip and the Granville is right... More

I've been meaning to leave a very positive review for the Granville since my first visit a few months back. a clean, comfortable place, old world (which I like) with excellent and charming staff. The breakfast buffet was great - had a lovely blaa (you can't go to Waterford and not have a blaa!) eggs benedict, and a bowl of... More

A wonderful hotel, superbly run by the Cusacks and their GM, Richard Hurley. Prompt and efficient check-in, utterly spotless room and facilities and speedy cleaning of all public spaces. Evident from conversations with the team - they are way too good to be designated "staff" - that they enjoy their work and accordingly take great pride therein. The Granville reminded... More

The Granville Hotel is on the quay in Waterford, a very central location and convenient for shopping or socialising. It's A very busy hotel with a great buzz and very attractive. It is family run. We had a meal there recently and we had a complaint about one meal. This was handled really admirably. The food is always really good... More

The hotel is in the centre of the town, on the waterfront. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and great bar food. Had live music on that was good and both the bar staff and breakfast room staff were very friendly as were the front desk staff. Highly recommend this hotel for a lovely city break.... More

We stayed at the Granville on October 28 to 29. It was the best hotel by far of our trip. Parking is public, but abundant across the road from the hotel. The hotel had old world elegance, our room was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, staff was attentive to our every need. We had arrived Dublin at 4:30 am and... More
