Booked this B&B as a result of Trip Advisor reviews. Centrally located in the town but there is no on-site parking. There are though nearby car parks which have charging periods and night time street parking outside. We arrived mid-afternoon and noticed immediately how cold it was in the corridor to the room. There were no radiators etc in the... More

Hi Raymond I am sorry to see that you stay was not an enjoyable experience. We were not aware of the heating issues in the back bedrooms until Monday morning at which stage we had it rectified immediately . Regarding the bed .It is a relatively new mattress so there must be an issue with the base which we will... More

Came across this B & B by accident when I was trying to find somewhere to stay for two nights in a part of the country which I had not visited for 20 years. Having rung a B&B which I found on the Internet I was told that they had closed down but they kindly redirected us to Ashleigh House.... More

We had 4 rooms and 3 of them had a double and single bed, each with its own different style. All were spotlessly clean with ironing board, hairdryer, tea/coffee and toiletries. The breakfast was lovely.

Friendly welcome and fit for purpose. Our room was also clean. Would stay here again if I were to chose to stay in B&B type accommodation, although I felt that the price could be reduced by approx. EUR 20, given the current state of repair of the B&B.

Homely bed and breakfast, well situated on a main thoroughfare in Monaghan town centre. Our room was small and basic, with a shower ensuite, and comfortable for our needs. Breakfast was a tasty full Irish: bacon, sausage, white pudding and fried egg.

This place is a jem! Perfectly located in Monaghan for exploring the town. The room had everything we needed for a very comfortable two-night stay. Terrific breakfast. Also very close to excellent local pubs and restaurants. Proprietor Anne was great! She helped us with advice and tips for exploring the town and surrounding area. Highly recommend this B&B!

Stayed here over the weekend with my friends. Perfect location, within walking distance from everything. Breakfast was lovely, served between 9.30-10.00. Room was clean and warm. Overall Ashleigh house was clean and tidy inside and easy to find in the town. Would recommend to stay here.
