Sometimes you just need to get away for a few days to relax and unwind .. some friends of mine were on their annual trip to west port for 5 days of dancing classes and evening dances ending with a gala dinner ..I was eventually pursuaded to go along not planning to join in but just for the break away...

We (6 adults & 2 babies) recently stayed for a night in the Castlecourt. As always it never fails. From booking our reservation to check in and checking out all were top class. It was my mother in laws Birthday and I mentioned to the girl while booking and she up graded their room to a four poster and left...

Booked The Castlecourt on a reasonable B&B rate. Check in was fine. Our room was a good size but plain at best. A bit dated and tired looking. Bathroom very plain. I used the pool which was a good size and perfect temperature. Again the pool area and especially the steam room and sauna could do with upgrading. I know...

Dear Guest Thank you for sharing your experience of our hotel with others. I greatly regret that you felt the room you were allocated and the leisure centre were a little tired. We always encourage feedback from guest and often use the comments as the basis for our program of improvement so we welcome your observations in this regard. I...

This hotel is more 3 star than 4 star especially the rooms. Dated furniture room looked rather tired. £312 for 2 nights not exactly value for money! Breakfast was nice however beans in a ramiken and small plate of mushrooms to share gave impression that there was some cost cutting ongoing so appeared less customer focused and more business focused...

Dear Guest I was most concerned to read your review and to learn that you felt the room you were allocated was dated and tired and that we were less customer focused and more business focused. I can assure you that this is certainly not the case, our number one priority is as always the customer experience and our aim...

I have just returned from Sea2Summit & stayed in the Castecourt with my family for the weekend. This hotel is excellent, its location with secure free parking in the centre of Westport is perfect. The whole experience was superb & started with the reservations team, I made a few errors in booking our rooms & Thelma + Kasia sorted them...

Stayed for 2 nights during the sea2summit adventure race weekend. The hotel was very busy when we checked in as is expected on such a weekend. Staff were very friendly, efficient and courteous throughout the weekend but the room was not good. It was very small and could barely take the double bed. It was not possible for two people to...

Monday night music in the hotel bar is good, drawing a large crowd of over fifties that seem to really enjoy themselves. The seating in the bar is very comfortable also so it's easy to make yourself comfortable.

Staff were really lovely but overall hotel a little dated. The leisure centre really could do with some investment ( coming from a leisure centre manager ). The usual wear and tear from water, cleaning chemicals etc was present, looked like it could do with some love around the door ends, pool and jacuzzi grates etc. Loved that the pool...

We stayed at the Castlecourt for a wedding last weekend, wwat can I say, the hotel was alright and we enjoyed the wedding very much. The food was excellent for the wedding.
