Already planning to stop in Augusta Lodge during our next Irish road trip. Very nice, cosy and charming place in lovely Wesport town. People were very warm, adviced straight away about what we can visit, sharing some maps and tips about the region. We were a family of three people, but were proposed to stay in large ensuite room (5...

I was really looking forward to my stay here but have to say it wasn't as fabulous as the other reviews. No warm welcome from Dave. First off, no introduction that was even his name! Only saw that after my stay. We arrived at 6:30pm to a locked door (understandable) however were immediately told upon entering the Lodge if we...

On arrival we were warmly greeted and led to a homely and comfortable, tastefully decorated room. Had a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. The breakfasts were splendid and generous and the host and hostess were both immensely friendly and helpful with directions, even mapping out a driving route for us to our next destination that led us...

The name says it all! Augusta Lodge really is a little taste of Augusta National. From the putting green to the most magnificent collection of golf memorabilia to be behold. Accomidation is 5 star with the addition of hosts who can give first class tourist information recommendations. Recommend for any golf enthusiast

Great place to stay, close to town, super clean, great food and great hosts,Dave and Stephanie are more than helpful and they make you feel right at home. Only took us ten minutes to walk to the pubs and downtown restaurants, and easy driving distance to other sites around Westport. And what a great town Westport is for traditional music and that pub atmosphere.

We booked in at Augusta Lodge for two nights and stayed for four! I think that speaks for itself. Great location with easy access to the town centre and to the wonderful 'Great Western Greenway' - the off-road walking and cycling track which runs from Westport to Achill. The accommodation was spotless and Dave the proprietor was friendly and helpful...

Nice and clean room with plenty of space. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dave and Stephanie made our stay very comfortable. They recommended places to visit around Westport and provided us with maps and directions. Breakfast was VERY GOOD and there was a lot of options available. It's only a 5 minute walk to town, and there's plenty...

We stayed at Augusta Lodge for a little one night visit to Westport. We actually found the place a little difficult to find as the website does not seem to be accurate but after driving around for ten minutes we got there! The owners are so friendly and chatty and our room was cosy and clean with a small bathroom....

This is my first time of rating any B&B. I'm a bit cautious about it because I think not everyone has the same goals. We don't choose B&Bs because we want hotel accommodations. We choose them more because they are a way to get to know a place, culture and individuals. We don't mind good facilities and outstanding meals but...
