The Elmgrove B & B is located next to Croagh Patrick, the mountain climbed by St. Patrick which remains the site of pilgrimages for people today. Elmgrove was a great find - immaculate house and grounds, nicely decorated rooms, friendly host, and many thoughtful amenities in the rooms, such as water boiler and tea, and free wi-fi. Mary recommended "The...

Very friendly host - accommodation was very good and reasonably priced and we had delicious pancakes for breakfast. The B&B is situated near Croagh Patrick, which is great. There is a very good restaurant at walking distance. No single rooms during high season, even hard to get in low season ...

We climbed Croagh Patrick in rain, mist and wind. It was a trek. We returned cold wet and muddy -to be rescued and resuscitated by our host and her hot shower. Spotless, reasonably priced twin ensuite across the road from the ascent and a wonderful breakfast to digest while taking in the view. Hard to beat.

This B&B is situated in a lovely country setting, but close to Westport Ireland to permit quick access to the amenities of that town. There is also a very good retardant within walking distance. The room was bright and cheery, everything worked well, the breakfasts very good and the hostess couldn't have been friendlier. She was also very knowledgeable about...

Our 5th year running and stayed for 5 nights. Lots to see & do, as little or as much as you want. Mary & Gus are amazing hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The 2 local pubs in walking distance are brilliant. I cannot fault anything and you are made to feel at home straight away.

Nice B&B with beautiful view of Croagh Padraig. Mrs. Churchill was very cordial and the room was very nice and immaculate. The food was very good and we were offered our choice of a varied selection. There is a tavern very close by where one can get dinner and they have a nice menu and the food is quite good....
