This was a very nice place to stay. Our hostess, Ena, was very helpful. Westport is an active town too. Directions to the house were good and we were able to find it ok. We were the only ones in the house (February ) and had breakfast made to order. The bathroom was good.

We only stayed one night during a tour of the whole of Ireland but would have been happy to stay much longer. Can't really add much to the reviews other than to endorse them; great B&B with very nice family owners, the best B&B we stayed in during our trip.

There was a mixup regarding our rooms which we found out about the day before (we had booked 2, but only 1 was reserved for us), but this was sorted out and thankfully we got the 2 rooms we had booked. The B&B is very nice, although slightly lacking in soundproofing (could hear people coughing and moving around in other...

The only criticism is that it is not as close to ton as we had hoped. However, Ena was very gracious and dropped us off in town so we could find a place to eat. She recommended a taxi back, but we walked instead. A taxi would have been better. Very dark and no sidewalk. We had to wait a...

Stayed one night in the Standard Twin Room. Upon stepping into the guest house, I can feel the owner is very passionate about cleanliness, home decoration & designs. It was a pleasure looking at the overall decoration of the rooms & the guest house . I especially loved the toilet which was huge, clean & beautifully decorated. The host was...

Booked online at the last minute, arrived unannounced only moments later and the hostess welcomed us with grace and charm. Very comfy quarters. Recommended local pub for a fantastic meal and then got up early the next morning to make us a superb "full Irish" so we could make our flight. Ina is the best!

My family and I recently stayed for a week in the guest house adjoined to Lurgan House B&B in Westport. Both the house and B&B is owned and run by Ger & Ena. We have already booked back in for next summer. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and the owners are so helpful, friendly and welcoming. They are...

We had a lovely night in Lurgan House. Ena is a wonderful host and the house is beautiful. We were only in Westport for one night and I wished we had known how far away the house was from town. On the website and it says it is a great place for walkers, and not knowing Westport we booked a...

A brilliant B & B in a really quiet location on the edge of Westport with fantastic views of Croagh Patrick, we were welcomed by Ena who showed us our room while explaining all about the house and the local area as well as advising on the local restaurants in town for later in the evening, we were offered tea...
