The Woodfield House Hotel is a charming and comfortable establishment located within a 15 minute walk into the city center of Limerick. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are neat, clean and roomy. There's lots of available parking behind the hotel. You can find a cozy pub and sunlit indoor patio at the front of the hotel where...

We hadn't visited the Woodfield since it changed hands and decided to give it a try for Sunday lunch. We normally prefer carvery, as we can select which vegetables to have with the main course. The hotel is easy to find on the main road into Limerick, rooms are a reasonable size with decent bathrooms, which are in need of some attention, with dodgy grouting etc. Away from the main road, the rooms are pretty quiet and were clean, though not terribly up to date. Breakfast was good, pleasantly served in the restaurant area by...

We loved staying here this past week. The reception was great and she helped us with useful information and advice on where to shop and visit. The pub looked welcoming and had many visitors each night. We never did go for a drink as we were so tired every night. Staff was very accommodating at meeting our requests. (A lot...

We stayed in Limerick a couple of nights before moving on to Dublin. Woodfield House is in a great location on the western side of Limerick so, should you be interested in checking out County Clare or other sites outside the city (we booked a rental car from just down the road) you can easily get away -- or, if...

I stayed here for 2 nights & I must say all of the staff were excellent during my stay. I have a severe nut allergy and the staff were excellent in telling me what was safe to eat & even allowed me to modify the menu to suit my needs. The food was excellent; hot, fresh, tasty & promptly served....
