We stayed for one Saturday night with two friends. The place is very well located, close to all the kilkenny attractions with a very secure car park. The owner offered a warm welcome. The room was big, quiet and spotless. The breakfast was decent and enjoyable. We were well looking after always in a discreet way. I warmly recommend this...

The room was quiet and tidy, with everything I needed. The location was great: A short, pleasant walk from downtown. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The owner gave a lot of her time to explaining the area and how to access other points of interest. I would definitely stay here again.

We came rolling into town with reservations at a Bed & Breakfast about 1 km away from here. It happened to be Roseanne's daughter's B&B. There were some maintenece issues (no fault of anyone) with our original house and rather than be "stranded on the doorstep" Roseanne came to the rescue and we were welcomed into Bregagh House. There were...

We came to Kilkenny for a hen and Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. There was 28 of us and you could tell they were used to catering for big groups. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating and breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were ideal and very clean. Highly recommended!

This guest house was clean, well accoutered and convenient to the cathedral. It is just off the main tourist street. It was the perfect distance from the tourist area to be away from the threat of a lot of noise and perhaps it was a little cheaper for it. The parking was adequate the proprietors were attentive enough. The breakfast...

Ended up here based on referral from another B&B that didn't have room for our family of 3. Conveniently located within 5 walking minutes to the center of town. Roseanne, the proprietor gave us good recommendations for dinner and things to do in town. Lots of good shopping and an enjoyable "Smithwicks Experience" tour. We were in room #4 and...

Stayed for one night and loved it. Great location, very helpful owners and off street parking was brilliant. The room was a good size with good wifi and no complaints about breakfast. Would stay again.

Bregagh House is in a great location to walk to the sites in Kilkenny. We walked to St. Canice's Cathedral, one of the best churches we visited. The climb up the Round Tower offered a great view of the town. We also walked to Kilkenny Castle (a great tour) and along the River Nore with swans swimming. Rothe House and...

This B&B has NOT adopted the freshly covered duvet bedding style which makes the room so much more appealing. Could not take a shower because their was not enough water coming out of shower to get hair wet. Was not informed of wifi code when we arrived so were not aware there was wifi. Breakfast inadequate. Wanted continental breakfast and...

Although the room was clean, the place needs a refurbishment.Stairs are squeeky and one can hear all kinds of noises from other rooms. Kettle in room was on top of wardrobe. Very hot room in summer with no aircondition. Noisy outside during the night cause windows have to be kept open. Hosts ok but breakfast was awful.
