I was down in the Lyrath hotel at the start of the month for the National Youth Awards with the No Name Club. I thought the hotel was fantastic. There was the main hall which was able to cater for over 1000 guests. The staff were superb, can't fault them for anything. They did there job with such finesse and...

Beware of 'Good Value' Spa Packages at Lyrath Estate! According to Lyrath's own website, they have a particular spa package available FROM €152.00 per person every day of the week up to December 2017. In reality, having booked for their 'Have it All' package on an available Friday night in May 2017; it was very disappointing(to say the least )...

booked a midweek special here, bit of confusion at reception on check in. Maybe a trainee but very little people skills. Rooms lovely, bar area lovely, Yindees restaurant lovely. Breakfast had ok selection. Found most staff very helpful and friendly. Would have no hesitation in recommending to friends or making a return visit.

This is a lovely hotel and we enjoyed our time here. All staff are not as warm as at some of the other places we stayed while in Ireland, but they are all helpful and polite. The room we stayed in had a beautiful view over a small lake and park area, and the room itself was spacious, clean and...

Excellent from start to finish. The adjoining rooms on the ground level worked out really well for my husband and I and our 3 kids (8,6,5). The kids loved the pool, the breakfast and the new outdoor playground which is super. We dined in the Thai restaurant with the welcome option of the kids being able to choose from the...

Good sized room.Comfortable bed,but no top sheets are provided which was very surprising. It is a popular business hotel, so busy and caters well for this market but definitely not for the comfort or leisure market. The pool is tiny. We paid extra for the leisure facilities in the spa, but again it is a small pool with jacuzzi suitable...

I stayed for 2 nights at the hotel for a conference. The hotel and its facilities are excellent. The view from our room was a little bit disappointing but that would be the only slight niggle. The breakfast was great, fresh honey, porridge and Bailey's! Fabulous combination. The conference facilities were also very good. The food at the conference dinner...

Firstly, I must say I have stayed in a few 5 star hotels in my time and the Lyrath was one of the more expensive. Bearing this in mind, I was expecting the standard to be amazing. Sadly, I was left rather disappointed. The hotel was very busy when we arrived due to a wedding, so after checking in, we...

We stayed at the estate May 8-10, and I really can't say enough good about it. It was an oasis of calm in a hectic travel schedule. Right from the first the customer service was great, and I have stayed some very nice places. Our room was exceedingly serene, with a view over the estate parkland, a soaking tub and...

This was by far our favorite hotel out of 4 that we visited during our recent trip. The grounds are gorgeous, and accommodations inside are also wonderful. Every staff member, from the reception, to spa, to dining staff were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the couples' retreat spa and dined twice at Tupper's Bar. Highly recommend, and whenever we...
