Our reservation was given away. We contacted the B&B via email and confirmed our reservation for a double room to start our honeymoon in Ireland. We called the B&B the day we were arriving to confirm the room and the time we would arrive. Much to our disappointment, when we arrived when we said we would, we were told there...

If you don't stay here, you're a fool! It's a gem. Kilkenny is a great town and so is this place. Short drive to city center. Great hosts, lovely house and awesome breakfast. What else can I say!!! Our stay was the best. 5 Star service. Have the Kilkenny beer. Distribution is limited throughout Ireland.

What can one say about the best B&B they have had the opportunity to enjoy. Rooms are comfortable and furnished with antiques. The area is surrounding Hillgrove is beautiful. Margaret and Tony are the epitome of hosts. They went above and beyond what we have experienced in other B&B's. Breakfast...the best in Ireland. Lots of choices and all excellent. If...

My husband, mom and dad all stayed at Hillgrove in May. The house was lovely. Our room was upstairs and it had a better shower than the one downstairs my parents were assigned. The house was clean and breakfast was delicious! The porridge with Irish Mist is worth a trip to Ireland alone. Margret was very helpful with directions and...

One of my favorite B&B's while traveling in Ireland this summer was Hillgrove, owned and run by Margaret and Tony Drennan. The home is back off the road and as you drive in the 1st thing you see is this beautiful home covered in crawling ivy. The home is tastefully decorated in warm colors, and the lawn and gardens are...

Nice and comfortable rooms, a garden like a little paradies and wonderful innkeepers. The breakfast was the best during our stay in Ireland!! You get a menue in the evening to choose from lots of tasty items for next morning. I had the french toast with bananas. Yummy... And don´t forget to order porridge with "mist"! Tony is serving breakfast,...

Easily our favorite place to stay in Ireland. Margaret and Tony have truly perfected the Bed and Breakfast, and the awards they have to show are more than deserved. Their home has a lovely warm ambience from the moment you are greeted: The rooms are comfortable, the gardens are fabulous and of course the breakfasts are mouthwatering. This retreat is...
