The location is just a couple of minutes outside the busy town of Kilkenny. Quiet location and easy parking compared to staying in town. We loved it here. Margaret's French toast is covered with an entire banana and it is site to behold and to eat. We just loved it. A great place to stay in the country and so...

Once again this year we stayed at the Hillgrove. Margaret and Tony are great, and the breakfast is super. Lots of fruit/cereal available on the sideboard and a really good full Irish. Also give the porridge with Irish Mist a try!! The Hillgrove is located outside of Kilkenny but a very short direct drive into town. It is a lovely...

This was the 4th time we've stayed in Margaret and Tony's beautiful home. It's always spotlessly clean with fantastic breakfasts. Their garden is also spectacular. They are lovely hosts that can't do enough for you. We can't wait to go back!

The pictures posted don't do this place justice, it's so beautiful! You pull in to the driveway and you see this beautiful house covered in ivy and then you park around back and you see this backyard with flowers and a greenhouse and a cute little table to sit at. It's just wonderful! The breakfast had so many options, I...

The Hillgrove B&B was our first stop in our trip thru Ireland and we couldn't start any better. We had a little trouble finding it but it was probably our mistake as its on the main road, not walking distance to Kilkenny but very easy to reach from town. The house is spectacular from the outside, with a beautiful garden,...
