My wife and I stayed here last week while attending a concert in Kilkenny - The Host was lovely, made us feel very welcome and was very helpful. This place is really convenient from the bus/ train station complex. Just walk down the steep driveway out of there, take a left, and the next main left. Then you'll soon see Boreen Lodge on the right. But the location is not the main reason for choosing this place. As other travellers have commented, the owner Stasia is a sweet...

Stasia O'Shea is a wonderful hostess! This b&b was only a 5 minute walk into Kilkenny. There was parking in front and so we avoided the inns on the main streets where it can be loud and difficult to park. Breakfast was delicious and Stasia was very helpful when answering questions about the area. The en-suite room was a bit...
