The room was slightly dated and we had a problem with the shower, but the staff were very helpful and moved us the next morning without any fuss. The room was very clean. The food was always hot and plentiful and very tasty. The restaurant staff were very efficient and friendly. I would certainly recommend this hotel as good value...

We stayed one night with a Trafalgar tour and were very well looked after by experienced and friendly staff. Our room was on the ground floor and was large, clean and adequate for a nights stay. No wifi in the rooms so had to sit in the hallway to collect emails, unusual but not a big deal. Breakfast was a...

Our arrival at the Earl of Desmond had been delayed by late ferry and heavy traffic on our group trip from Merseyside (GB Tours - see separate review), but we were greeted at 10pm with a lovely 3 course meal by friendly staff. (After such a long journey I didn't think I felt like eating until I started it !!)...
