Hostel is okay for short stay, it has good parking and is a close drive to Ring of Kerry. Room wasn't the cleanest, it had wooden floorboards and there was thick dust where they met the walls. Wifi doesn't reach all the rooms. Our room had a sink though which was nice. Bathroom was clean and close by.

Staff is nice, breakfast was ok. There was no wifi in our building. As if it is outside if you don't have a car is a very bad location. At least the room was not bad and for three was big enough. If you don't have any other option is not too bad.

We stayed four nights in this nice hostel. The surrounding nature is very nice. The room was small and basic. The sink in the room was nice. The cleanliness of bathrooms and toilets were okay - afterall it is a hostel. The self catering kitchen was well equipped and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked the...

Good hostel and a lovely place to base your exploration of this beautiful area. We stayed 4 days. staff arranged the Gap of Dunloe trip which was fabulous. Well provisioned kitchen, comfy lounge rooms, and a laundry. Bit out of town though.

This location works best if you have a car as it is about 5 kilometres away from the actual town of Killarney. The hostel is located in a beautiful and imposing period house which really adds to a lovely atmosphere. There is just enough car parking for busy periods but spaces can be tight if you return late at night...

The staff is very nice and helpfull . The location very good if you have a car . We were given a 4 beds room for the two of us. There was a sink in the room which is nice; the shared bathroom was ok but the toilets not very clean. The common room is very cosy. The breakfast is...

On arrival I was greeted with s very warm and sincere welcome, all my questions answered and ample information provided. The rooms are basic, but then this is a hostel after all. The self catering kitchen was exceptionally tidy and clean. Encouraging others to do the same. Ample seating as well. The public areas are all very comfortable.

I stayed at the Killarney International Youth Hostel by myself for a week in mid-March. I was spending my spring break in Killarney and Dingle hiking and biking around the countryside during the daytime and drinking with locals at night. Overall my experience was very nice. The staff were extremely friendly and the building is large and has nice amenities...

Stayed at the Killarney International Youth Hostel for 2 nights in late June, 2016. In all honesty it is a very nice hostel with a beautiful common space, great TV room, nice relaxing reading room, and the self catering kitchen has everything and more than you could expect except for a coffee maker. The hostel itself does provide Tea &...

This place is quite pretty from the outside, the inside fairly basic but for the price that's no surprise! Free basic breakky in the morning, fairly well equipped kitchen. Easily accessible with a car. Mattresses were a hard, but the showers (although initially looked very basic) had good temperature and pressure which is what you want really. Not too bad...
