The rooms, breakfast and hospitality of Ross Castle Lodge are very good. And if you want to explore the Gap of Dunloe (highly recommended; walk to the castle and catch a boat through the lakes in the morning) or the Ring of Kerry, this is a great place to stay. Be aware: it is a little over a mile to... More

This B&B is wonderful, tucked away from the busy downtown on a beautiful property with tons greenery and gardens. Rooms are spacious and well decorated. Tons of options for breakfast if you've already had too many Irish breakfasts. To top it off, the host Rosaleen is extremely friendly and happy to give great advice on places to go, things to... This is a beautiful home away from home. The rooms are large and luxurious and the bed was very comfortable. We had 2 nights here and wished we could have stayed longer. It was not far out of the city centre but was very quiet at night. Denis and Rosaleen were very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights Tuesday and Wednesday 1st/2nd September. Denis checked us in with the minimum of fuss and Rosaleen was in charge of the best B&B breakfast we have ever had. Rosaleen was very friendly whilst serving breakfast without being overbearing. I believe this house only has 3 rooms so peace and quiet is... More

Impeccable rooms, warm and cozy. Appetizing and sophisticated breakfast. All services available. Very appreciated international plugs located around the bedroom, and perfectly working heating system. Rooms are large and include very nice furniture. 10 minutes walk from Killarney downtown and close to the hippodrome.

Ross Castle Lodge sits just up the road from Ross Castle. It is a privately owned B&B with a few rooms that are smashing--large and airy with beautiful Irish linens and throws. You need to reserve for a minimum of two nights, but that is no trouble as this location is convenient to Ross Castle, the lovely town of Killarney,... More
