Mary, John and Bridget were absolutely marvelous and continued to go above and beyond for us. The inn is set in a beautiful location at the opening of the national park, just below Killarney town center. The home itself is meticulously clean, the breakfast was outstanding with great views of everything you hope to see in Ireland. We could not...

I wrote a review about the Friars Glen last year after our visit and was disappointed to see that it wasn't posted. Take every negative review about this place and throw it out the window! Complaints about the cost? Are you kidding me! Less than $120 a night for one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept. The...

We could not say enough good things about Friars Glen! We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and Bridget was incredibly helpful. Every morning she stopped by our breakfast table to make sure we were set with our plans for the day. She offered recommendations and helped map our route....

This is the perfect place to stay in Killarney! Very close to the entrance to Killarney National Park & away fro the traffic of downtown Killarney. It was a quiet stay, besides the mating calls of the deer which my husband thought was hilarious. Our room was more than large enough, the bed was comfy & the shower was hot!...

Finally getting around to reviewing the Friars Glen. We spent a week in Scotland before flying into Cork on July 30. We headed straight for The Jameson Experience in Midleton and were glad we did as it was a very nice tour. We then arrived late afternoon/early evening at Friars Glen and were greeted by the warmest, most gracious hosts...

We stayed at Friars Glen for 2 nights during our one-week visit to Ireland. It is definitely an emerald isle. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of Friars Glen since it is located in Killarney National Park, and off the main road. Even though it was rutting season and we could hear the mating calls of the male deer, it...

My wife and I stayed at Friars Glen for three nights while exploring Killarney. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The setting is like one you would read about in a storybook. Located right next to the National Park. It is close to everything, but tucked away just far enough were you don't hear everything (except the stag). It's about a...

Had an awesome time staying here in October 2016. The breakfast was amazing the owners were very helpful! Close to everything in Killarney! Go and ride horses with Dan next door! Make sure you get out and hike around the Inn. There is a beautiful hunting lodge and waterfall close by.

I stayed in Friar's Glen for two nights this week. I was working in Killarney and a family member had told me how fantastic Friar's Glen was. He went on and on about it and I wondered if it could possibly be as good as he made it out to be - but he was right! I had a very...

We had such a wonderful stay. We were there for 2 nights and had a great time. The location was a good distance from town but that was the best part. There are some things to do within walking distance and a great pub to eat at. The room was huge and so was the bathroom. Everything was wonderfully decorated...
