Just returned from a wonderful girls night away in 1 of the amazing apartments. Our stay was made exceptional by the fantastic "Oísin" who went out of his way to make everything perfect for us. We can't thank him enough, every hotel should have someone like him. He is definitely an assist to the hotel. The spa experience was also wonderful, especially enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. The hotel is a good bit out from the town so had to pay extra €17 e/w to get taxi into town. Wishing ye continued success
I have nothing but complements for the Muckross Park Hotel. A large number of us visited this luxury hotel mid June for a two night stay in the apartments and we could not have asked for anything more. We dined in the bar attached the hotel and the set menu they served to us was absolutely beautiful. They catered for vegans and vegetarians in our group and even personalised the menus. We had our own area in the restaurant which was very personable and the gentleman serving us could not have been more attentive. The apartments themselves were immacute. Our apartments had 2 bedrooms each with ensuite, a dining/living area and a kitchenette which was perfect as we cooked breakfast for everyone on the two mornings. Everything was very new and modern, clean and tidy. The staff at muckross were so professional. We struggled to get a taxi into town one busy evening and they obliged us by offering a lift (we cannot thank you enough Breda). They were so accommodating, kind and genuine nice people. We also made use of the pool, relaxation area, hot tub and spa whilst at the hotel. Many of us received treatments and it would have been remiss of us not to tip the treatment staff as they were just fantastic. The whole weekend as a whole was fantastic from start to finish. The location of the hotel is perfect with just a 5 minute taxi trip into town. I will definitely be returning whether it be in a couple of 2, a trip with girlfriends, a family of 5, or a larger family gathering. The perfect destination no matter what part of the country you are from, or the purpose of your journey. Thank you so much to all the staff including Lisa and Brenda. We had the most fantastic time. Xx…
Great location, beautiful hotel and superb friendly staff. We stayed in the Blue Pool Junior Suite (Room 140). Room was spacious, bright and quiet, but had only small mirror on the wall. This suite needs a floor mirror. Two bottles of wine and chocolates were in our room to welcome us. Huge thanks for that! not many hotels are welcoming guests like that, free of charge. Food was very good. This hotel has a charming Tea Room, we couldn't resist to try a mini afternoon tea and bought some tea to take with us. The SPA is great too. The location is perfect to explore the Muckross House and grounds, only 20 min walk to the house and lake. There is a cafe and a gift shop.
Located right in the national park, the Muckross Park hotel was the perfect place to stay for us to explore Killarney National Park. Besides the location, the service was outstanding. From the reception desk (Danielle was great!) who welcomed us and set us up on bicycles to explore the park, to the concierge (Oisin!) who gave us great advice for our upcoming Ring of Kerry drive, to the gentleman (so sorry I forget his name) who helped us move rooms when we were disappointed in our first room assignment -- all provided outstanding service! We didn't eat dinner there or try the spa, but breakfast service was excellent too, including the recent Ukrainian immigrant who served us. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.
We actually started our official drive around and ring of Kerry from this beautiful location. Not only is it entirely well appointed, offers a friendly and informative staff, beautiful amenities, and fine dining, but it is situated accross the street from the national park, the abbey ruins, and a few minutes walk from the famed Muckross house, and historic farming village. Whether coming or going on your drive, be sure not to miss this welcoming venue.
Had a wonderful stay in this Hotel, the bedroom we stayed in was fabulous, had everything that we needed at hand. The service from Gene in the Concierge right through to speaking with Madina in HR, I must say they make you feel right at home. Just two staff of so many who took real pride in their job. Breakfast is very special and served with a 5 star warm Kerry Charm. We stayed here for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. Dinner was also beautiful served with charm and professionalism. The Spa at Muckross, was a magical place also where we spent alot time escaping from the real world. We would highly recommend this Hotel for its staff and service coupled with its ideal location on the outskirts of Killarney.
Loved the location adjacent to trails and sights in Killarney Nat Park, and the spa and pools were amazing! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful as well and provided us with a lovely welcome amenity of wine and chocolates! Would recommend for anyone visiting Killarney.
This was our second visit to Ireland and our second staying here This was by far the best service we have received in any country in the world It was also the best “ bang for our buck “ for quality and service received on breakfast, accommodations and a fine dinner .
We have stayed in plenty of FIVE star hotels around the world, and our recent stay at The Muckross Hotel & Spa was certainly not up to 5 Star calibre. No valet, staff were tired, dark lighting, we had to get our own cutlery in the Monk's Room, one of the restaurants. We had an executive suite that looked onto photo below. “If I could turn back time..” song by Cher is appropriate for the decor of the hotel which is dated
