Our room was very dirty and smelled almost unbearably of mold. There was dirt, mold and rust in the bathroom. The bath mat was ripped. The sheets smelled clean but were very stained. The carpet was filthy. The shower curtain wasn't waterproof, so the bathroom floor was soaked all day. Our tea service wasn't replenished except our cups and saucers...

We've stayed here for 2 nights on our Paddywagon tour. Our room was quite large, easily accommodating our large suitcases. The door locks with a key card which is convenient. It was also a good starting point of going out in the evenings as it's about 10 mins walk to the city centre. Also, we had a nice view from...

We stayed here 1 night with our tour. Rooms are spacious which is the only plus here. Our room - #107 was not very good. Others in our group had no complaints, though. Our room had a coffee maker but not coffee, or creamer. The WiFi did not work in this room at all. The shower was poor - there...

We stayed 2 nights through EF tours and although the rooms and bathrooms weren't as clean as I would prefer the setting and rooms were quaint and in keeping with the cottage style. I loved the layout of the "family" room which would be an awesome option back here in the states as I usually have to reserve 2 rooms...

This was a two night stay during a trip with EF tours with high school students. If we ( the chaperones (parents) could have moved 70 kids we would have!). The rooms were not clean by any means. The carpets were stained and dirty, the breakfast room had ants and spiders crawling all over the tables, in the sugar bowls...

The rooms and facilities are nothing special but the breakfast is quite good and the receptionist was extremely helpful. We stayed there Easter weekend and the receptionist spent probably half an hour calling up restaurants trying to help us get a last minute dinner booking.

Stayed here for two nights with a group in February 2015. Easy walk to the center of town. The receptionist (not Irish) was rude. She continously blamed our group for the electrical problems of the hotel. The rooms need a make-over. Internet works well in the lobby not in the rooms. Breakfast was good. Had one dinner at the "sister"...

I stayed here for 2 nights in a twin room. The room had 1 single bed and 1 double. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean but I didn't really like the duvet as it looked a little old. But it was clean. The bathroom was good but the shower spray went everywhere and condensation lingered in the...

Perfect location as within 5 mins walk of the town. Room was very cold upon arrival. Bathroom had no radiator so was really cold. Breakfast was fine, but the coffee was horrific. Generally the place is ok but worth €75 for a night?? Perhaps not. Would go back if I was stuck for place to stay.

The floor of the room wasn't clean, the beds were clean. But they haven't hoovered the room, there were plastic fingernails and a band aid on the floor that should have been removed. Which made us very concerned about other hygienic cleaning. It was including breakfast, that turned out to be ok.
