We stayed here for three nights during our ten-day tour of Ireland and had booked Cahernane House early on due to beautiful pictures on the website and tripadvisor reviews. Be forewarned: if you expect cleanliness, comfort, or luxury then you will be sorely disappointed. We paid extra for a room in the "original house." Let's be clear: historical doesn't have...

Drove there from Dublin airport upon arrival- a 3:45hr drive. Stayed 3 nights while driving around the Ring of Kerry and driving to Cork and back on the second day. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were wonderful. The location worked for us as we liked to walk the 15 minutes into town for dinner and then back...

We stayed three nights ath Cahernane House on a recent trip to Ireland. The rooms were nicely done, with warmed bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The food was amazing, and we ended up eating in the bar every night as it was open late. Staff was always willing to help with whatever we asked. The grounds are lovely, quiet and very...

My family recently returned from Killarney, Ireland and did stay at the Cahernane house. Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! The food was great and the staff was greater. Everything we imagined this wonderful house to be was all that and more. Trips into Killarney were a joy as all the taxi drivers were helpful and courteous. Several restaurants we dined at were...

The staff could not have been nicer and the accommodations were beautiful. The rooms are large and comfortable and so are the bathrooms. The setting is lovely and the location perfect. We went...

Spent last weekend in this hotel and was really impressed by it. The place is so old world and very relaxing, a real old country house ideal to unwind after a day around Killarney. The staff were so helpful and the food was amazing, top quality. We had three children and a baby with us and had a family room,...

Was looking to get away for a few days in Kilarney for both shopping and relaxing . Hotel was a bit further than I expected out of town . On past reports I seen it was 10-15 mins outside the town . It was a small bit further than that and you would have been very tired by the time...
