We're just back from a great weekend in Cahernane House. The hotel itself is beautiful and so cosy, and the staff really make the place they're so welcoming and friendly! We had dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night and we really enjoyed the food, the room is really lovely and relaxing and they're a great atmosphere. Both of us...

Very authentic , Irish facility. Great rooms, helpful staff and very quiet. Not super easy for walking downtown, but doable. Great food, easy to find. Beautiful scenery from hotel lobby, rooms and entry.

Dear Barbara S, I appreciate you taking time to review the Cahernane House Hotel. I think our authenticity comes from being a Manor House built in 1877 and you definitely get a sense of history about the house. Many original features such as the main staircase are still intact and looking remarkable today. We are very fortunate to be located...

Cahernane House is situated just outside Killarney very near beautiful Muckross and the National Park. New rooms are currently being added but as we were there for the weekend, the building work did not intrude. I think they will be a good build with a nice exterior design that fits in with the old Victorian house and they will have...

We stayed here for the first night of our RTW honeymoon trip. The property and restaurant are lovely--breakfast was wonderful. The room felt a little dated (of course), but charming. The bathroom had a great shower, with plenty of hot water. The tree-lined path to the hotel is perfect. The two old trees right outside the hotel have "presence." Plenty...

Having never traveled to Ireland before, my visions of what an Irish Manor House came to life at the Cahernane House. It is an excellent blend of both old and new. The rooms are spacious, the overall grounds are charming and the service is excellent. The bar in the basement feels like a private club and is not to be...

Dear jfoster1268, We really appreciate your great comments of Cahernane House Hotel and thank you for taking the time to write this review. The house here was built in 1877 by Henry Herbert and fortunately it has kept all of its character and charm over the years. And to be situated at the edge of Killarney National Park is an...

Had the pleasure of visiting Cahernane House for a family celebration. Beautiful old world house in a fantastic setting. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing from start to finish. Goats cheese starter was divine as was beef main and creme brulee. Will definitely return for dinner.

Our visit to Cahernane was like coming home. Beautifully run and lovingly maintained, Cahernane has the elegance of an old manor house but with every modern convenience. Breakfast and dinner are divine. The service is impeccable. Trust me on this, after a couple of days, you will not want to leave!

Dear Pete, Thank you for your review and I am delighted you had an enjoyable stay with us.
